I actually love weapons a lot (special place in my heart for the quarterstaff, it may be plain but it’s surprisingly deadly) and pretty much anything nerdy... fantasy-looking clothes... cloaks... always gotta have a cloak and maybe a lightsaber for good measure... but also soft pastel colors and ocean-themed decorations

I have! A little over a year ago I went to a signing in Hoboken. Got a RAFO card for asking about axial interconnection (this was pre oathbringer...i was so mad when i was reading ob cause it was so obvious)

Yikes.....not sure if that would turn out well u know.

27. What do you want from the next stormlight book?

i want kaladin to fix his damn problems....get a therapist. otherwise more lift! especially more lift and szeth interactions so i can make more saitama son son vallano jokes.

6. favorite character you ever created

well that’s just rude

hmmmmm gonna go with tawa and washta. tawa cuz he’s worst boy and also essentially the first character i ever really made (jayren being the first reincarnation of him), washta because she’s best girl and certainly not a Me but buff

26. standalone or series, and why?

i’ve only written standalones so far because they were projects for neighbors. but the painter is gonna be a series, either a trilogy or quartet, because it’s a longer story i wanna tell. definitely couldn’t fit everything in a single book, heh

reading-wise, i think i prefer series, but like,,,,,,duologies. six of crows and strange the dreamer being prime examples. duologies and quartets are good.

windy grasslands under open skies

ancient, careless gods dead and ruining

bleak, unpainted horizons at dawn and dusk

the lost loneliness of not knowing who you are or where you belong

the warmth of sunshine on your cheeks when you turn your face to the sky, balanced by the grounding of your bare soles on the dark soil

13. What’s your favorite cosmere scene and why?

The end of Hero of Ages is a fav because it ties together a sprawling series in a magnificent and satisfying way. Also, Sazed!!! 

Kaladin’s return to Hearthstone and the scene in Bands of Mourning (I think) where Wayne has Wax yeet him into the enemy camp, breaking all his bones in the process, rank up there as well

26. Are you a Mistborn or a misting, and if misting, what type?

6. What order of knights radiant are you?

i should take a quiz shouldn’t i … . uh I would really like to be an Edgedancer! I’m excited to see how Lift learns to use her surges (with Szeth teaching her! yes bsandy? pls?) and I love the Ideals.

Unfortunately not, which is dumb because I live in Utah … hopefully sometime soon!
