So I asked my aunt about this verse in the Quran, specifically the “beautified the sky with stars and throwing them at the devils” part (some translators tried to change “sky” to “heavens” or “nearest heaven” but it’s literally “sky” in Arabic). She also said that “sky” means “space” (like I said, it literally said “sky”) and when I asked her about throwing stars at the devils, she didn’t find anything wrong with it. I tried to ask her if stars can be “thrown” and she said that we see them fall all the times (aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh) and when I told her that these things are actually fucking METEROS not STARS, she got really angry and told me to “stop questioning religion”!?

I hate how ppl think being an atheist automatically makes you immoral. I once told this lady I didn’t believe in God, & she straight up told me she didn’t believe I was truly an atheist because I was a good person 🙄😒
