If there’s anything that proves we should wear sunscreen every day, it’s our butt. According to scientists, examining our fresh, wrinkle-free bottoms will inspire people to protect themselves from harmful radiation.
WEAR SUNSCREEN TO MAKE SKIN LOOK LIKE A BUTT
Every summer, scientists express the importance of sunscreen. As a result, hordes of people fail to take the advice seriously. One can’t ignore the facts, though. The sun is harmful. It’s horrible for our skin. Just look at the butt. Butts never see sunlight. That’s why they are the plump, wrinkle-free protrusions that everyone adores. By wearing sunscreen every day, you can prevent brown spots, wrinkles, sun damage, and skin cancer. That should be good enough reason to lather up. However, that’s far from the case.
SCIENTISTS EXPLAIN WHY OUR BUTT IS HEALTHY
Free radicals are the number 1 enemy again. They kill cells and activate enzymes that break down collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin keep skin tight, supple, and young-looking. Just like a butt. Free radicals, on the other hand, produce fine lines. Bloodlines underneath the skin become exposed due to thinning skin. By the time you’re old, that will be too late. Protecting skin when you are young will minimize the negative effects of free radicals. Try telling that to “invincible” teenagers, though.
SCIENTISTS COMPARE A BUTT TO FINANCE
According to scientists, skin care is similar to personal finance. Saving money (putting on sunscreen) isn’t hard to do. However, it takes discipline. Running out the door to join friends at the beach is all too tempting but it’s important to get in the habit of putting on sunscreen. Over time, the process will become automatic. It’s simply getting into the routine that is difficult. To help, scientists suggest combining routines. When brushing your teeth, slap on some sunscreen. It will seem like less of a chore and your older self will be grateful. Shoot for anything SPF 30 or above. Make sure it blocks UVA and UVB rays. For whatever reason, a skin care routine may not seem cool. You know what will be cool, though? Looking 50 when all your friends look like 75.
