strong believer in barty not necessarily being religious but just passively going to church—mostly because it’s what his father always made him do as a kid and he could never quite kick the habit away—but also being the biggest atheist and hater of God. he just likes the thought of being able to believe in something
then there’s evan—who grew up with this. god, religion, crosses, bibles. this is all he knows. his fathers the preacher—he goes to church every sunday and he does bible study every tuesday and thursday. god is his life.
