Good news for sportspersons in Rajasthan! Sports Minister and Olympian Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has cracked the whip on the Rajasthan Sports Council.
🚨 The Problem: Over 8,000 cases of cash awards/incentives for medal winners are pending! Plus, nearly 150 ‘Out of Turn’ job applications are stuck in limbo.
😠 Why Now? During a recent stadium visit, Rathore got direct feedback from players about delays and missing staff. He was not happy.
⚡ The Action Plan:
Tech Team Deployed: An 8-member team from the IT department (DoIT) has been stationed at the council to speed up the paperwork and payments. 6 members have already started!
Boss Fired: The in-charge of the grants section has been removed immediately. Sports Manager Narendra Bhuria is now in charge.
Special Cell: A new special cell is being created just to handle these pending cases.
The Bottom Line: “Players are the pride of the state,” Rathore said. Delays and negligence will not be tolerated anymore.
