The Others ( One Left . . . )
These are Mood Boards for my characters Ciar and Sorcha in volume two of their story. These kids both grow up so much in this volume, I hadn’t really realized that their aesthetics changed over time. 😅
I made these boards back on Halloween night this past year. The spooky season always makes me think of my Athol siblings. Just trying to post more to motivate myself to keep writing! ✍️
Silver palace oc concept idea thats basically metal-sonic mixed with pinocchio and quasimodo (+ i guess frankenstein's monster? In an off brand kinda way), a dude who was created artificially - like through alchemy & machinery - by a loney yet egotistical man to be nothing more then a tool for his self serving villain plans or whatever to like take over silvernia, who views the man as family/a father despite the poor treatment as they dont know to think otherwise and dont have anyone else, who slowly learns about the world he had been sheltered from with wonder. Who can easily be a danger to others due to his finetuned abilities and skillset (and since hes used as an obstacle to any who oppose his creators goals, like a bodyguard) but is mostly just docile and curious by default and wishes to learn/be accepted, and wants so so bad to be "real" and be seen a real, and begs anyone who shows him a tiny bit of kindnesd to tell him hes real.. but dosent realize he was real and is a person, that he had been that all along, even without traditional flesh and blood. Cue him turning on his creator for the greater good and joining the protags crew :3
The angst thats brewing in my head rn is IMMACULATE
(Sorry for the long ask lmao, didnt look long when writing it)
Holy shit this is such a brilliant oc, fucking immaculate vibes right there.
Athol, resident mad scientist who needs cash to fund the "fix my mistakes" project and is somehow working for said evil guy. Accidentally bumping into man made bodyguard: oh, excuse me-
This oc: am I alive?
Athol: jesus-
Sycre, later on stealing from said evil guy: catch me if you can, big guy! I'll go slow, just for you~
This oc, internally: ...that counts as nice, right?
What A Wicked Game You Play: Creature Features, The Game of Horror! Patterned on Monopoly, this has a very nifty premise, positing the players as movie producers of different eras greenlighting film projects starring the classic monsters.

BN eastbound freight #88 showed off the wild variety of freight equipment that could be found on the railroads, before the conversion to endless stacks and hoppers.
I live in rural area of MA [Athol], and theres a lot of graveyards around the town, but I surprisingly don't see a lot of ghost types with trainers out and about. I've even been stared at a bit funny when taking my Umbreon [Actias] outside, which I find a bit odd too. Is there a reasoning on this? I moved here around 7 years ago, but I'm still not quite sure on the whole.. stance on certain types around here.
There's a lot of superstition out there about ghost and dark-types, especially among older generations and in rural areas - you might be encountering some of this. It's also probably because ghost-type trainers are relatively rare, owing to the difficulty of both catching and training ghost-types.
While Massachusetts today has a large number of dark and ghost-types trainers compared to other states, due to its Puritan origins it actually had (unenforced) laws prohibiting ghost-type ownership until the 2000s!
