The more pairs of wings an angel has, the more favoured they are by God.
Every angel has at least one pair of wings, and those ate the standard, the average. Everyone is loved by God, even if a tad.
Those with two pairs of wings are already rare, even if it doesn't seem like much. They are regarded as higher angels, most commonly Heavenborn. Earthborn angels are less likely to have multiple sets of wings, and are ranked higher than Heavenborn angels in the same "category".
Having three pairs of wings gets you categorized as a seraphim. There has been a single Earthborn angel in this category. The rest are Heavenborn, few and far between. Most Heavenborn in this category is assigned some important role or job.
There hasn't been any angels with more than 3 pairs of wings.

"War angels" are not anything officially dubbrd by God, merely a common term used to describe angels who participated in the war. The only official "category" is Heavenborn and Earthborn.
During the war, many angels who participated donned the outfit pictured on the left, albeit varying person to person.
The typical outfit is able to be modified by each person, but the pictured is the default (minus the necklace, that is something added by Odeliah herself.) It does not change based on your position in the hierarchy.
