The Understated Chocolate Chip Cookie
So its been a stressful past couple days and (dog)mama wanted some cookies damnit! But this lady did not want to brave the hell that is Sunday afternoon commissary, I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. So I took to the internet to find an eggless cookie recipe to feed my cravings. Found one, and of course, tweaked it.
This recipe was for just fluffy eggless sugar cookies, but i added chocolate sprinkles to the dough for a chocolate chip vibe, because I had no chocolate chips. Livin on a prayer here people.
The dough.
1/2 cup melted butter, 1 cup sugar (double what the original recipe wanted) 2 1/2 ish tsp Vanilla extract, 2 tbsp milk, mix together well the add to dry ingredients 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt, mix and gradually add more flour til your dough is a nice consistency. Do test the dough with your finger, its safe to eat becase check it NO EGGS. Then I folded in a generous amount of the sprinkles and placed 12 messy globs on a baking sheet.
oven at 350 bake for about 15 minutes
they come out both crispy and soft through some baking miracle! definitely making again when I’m in no mood to go buy eggs!
Peace and gumballs
