Singer Atilia ties the knot

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1, 2014:

Singer Atilia Haron and sound engineer Adam Sofian tied the knot yesterday in a closed reception.

Earlier in the morning, the singer who had been divorced previously uploaded a picture of a wedding dais on her Instagram account and announced that she would be getting married, stating that the function would only be attended by family members and close friends.

“Alhamdulillah, I am extremely happy to share that I will be getting married today amongst family and close friends. We thank you for all your kind wishes and prayers,” read the caption for the picture.

Atilia or Raja Puteri Atilia Raja Haron, 40, later uploaded several other pictures of her solemnization ceremony, which was held at the Saujana Hotel and Resort here.

Previously, the jazz singer who is also the daughter of veteran singer Salamiah Hassan was married to Arrif Johan Abdul Aziz. However, the two went their separate ways in January 2009.
