IMPORTANT A/N: i've probably mentioned this thousands of times before, but especially with the holidays quick coming, i may take a little longer to write and publish requests, than what you guys are normally accustomed to, with other writers. please bear with me, as the results will be well worth it. i take my time. i do copius amounts of research. i may ask seemingly, innocuously, mundane, and detailed questions. but this is only to make the final piece as personal and as realistic for you as possible. my goal as a writer, is to make you exist in the scenes. to make you feel everything as it happens. to make you hear the the words as they are spoken and to put you right there, regardless of where your body currently is. so please, bear with me! i'm writing FOR you guys! ♡
for the ask game: Onewe and Oneus?

Rainah!! I need your help! I got tickets to go see Stray Kids and I've never been to a concert before, let alone a kpop concert, so I have literally no idea what to expect. I figure since you've been a fan forever and have been to a bunch of concerts you'd have some advice? Pleeeaaaaasse???
aklsdj;fklsjdf uhHHHH oh man I’m not good at advice LOL but ALSO AHHH STRAY KIDS YAY!!!!!!
show up early to the venue- there’s going to be a check in process for any standing room/floor admission tickets whether they’re vip tickets or not. which means a lot of waiting in line for a nice little wristband. I feel like I always mess this one up, each time I show up earlier than the last and the line is still super long lol, so just really expect to wait in line- that being said bring plenty of water and some snacks, sunscreen as well, if you anticipate you are waiting in line. I didn’t bring snacks for monsta x’s line in august and lemme tell you by the time I finally got to chiyo I was famished- the line merch is always going to be long, so make sure you have money (a lot of places accept card but I always bring some cash just in case) and anticipate standing in this line if you aren’t standing in a check in line as well lol- I’d still recommend showing up an hour to an hour and a half early even if you don’t have vip or general floor admission. the doors open at a certain time but there’s still going to be a line to get in and bag checks, etc. just... lines... everywhere... lots of them...
plan your day around the concert- since you’ll want to be in the area early, whether you have vip or not, I would suggest looking up places around the venue that you can hang out or visit in your free time or where you can meet up with any friends if you plan to- definitely make sure you eyeball where food is at, otherwise pack some extra snacks and water, and keep in mind a lot of restaurants, etc, surrounding concert venues won’t allow you to use the bathroom unless you purchase something from them, so keep an eye out for restrooms! venues will make you throw these things away though upon entry so be warned.- bring a portable charger for your phone. if there are starbucks or coffee shops in the area, you can anticipate none of them are going to have outlets available :’)) (mistake I made when I saw zico rip to my phone)
always make sure to have copies & proof of everything- bring your ID, have a screenshot copy or printed copy of your ticket, and anything else you may need. most venues or ticket sellers will email you with this information. don’t rely on wifi in the area, though!
always keep up with venue announcements- most of the time the venue will email you about any important information you need to know beforehand, such as bag policy, recording policy, or where ticket pickup or check in is. if you haven’t gotten an email about it, definitely check the website directly.
try not to be shy and go with the intentions of making friends (even if you already have friends you are with!)- everyone is there for the same reason as you: to see their favorites perform! I went to monsta x alone and I had the worst anxiety about being on my own, but I made 4 friends in line that day and while we all got lost in the pit we ended up regrouping for hitouch, which I never expected because I’d barely met these people 13 hours prior lol. if you hear someone talking about something, jump in to the conversation!
keep an eye out for fan projects or people going around with freebies, they always make things fun!
jump on twitter, even if it’s just for the single concert and you never use the bird app again- a lot of updates happen through twitter, or people around the venue will talk about things going on, and it’s just a nice way to be aware of what is happening or if you’re missing something!
most important of course is to have fun. you don’t need to record or have your nose glued to your phone to have the best experience, even if everyone else is doing it (I sometimes record then don’t look at my phone then realize I’ve taken really bad video footage later oOps), and you don’t need a light stick to make you feel like an official fan. just have fun and try and make friends, and be aware of your surroundings so your day doesn’t feel hectic. and expect to be in line a lot whether it’s for vip check in, ticket pick up, or merch.
aklsjkflsdfk sorry I rambled but I hope this helps! and most importantly that you have fun!! you’re gonna see stray kids I’m so happy for you 🥺
Who did you have to sacrifice for your url good lord

Hello! Your Gemini tarot reading post popped up in my recommended posts and after scrolling through your blog a bit I have a question. I know exactly jack about astrology and divination but a lot of my mutuals will reblog posts about it and I have no idea what is supposed to apply to me. I know I'm a Taurus, but that's about it. I don't know how to figure out like my planet or anything like that. Like what does Saturn in the eighth house mean? I guess what I'm asking is for a basic rundown :)
when it comes to astrology, a basic rundown isn’t usually so basic.. there’s a lot that comprises your natal chart, which is what tells you what planets are in what sign & what house they fall in.
the best site (imo) to calculate your birth chart is astro.com & it’s free to use. it doesn’t give you a rundown of the placements like cafeastrology does, and the wheel chart is a little hard to understand at first, but it’s the most accurate out of all of them & once you figure out how the wheel chart works (i have a post with that info here) it’s pretty easy to determine your placements!
when it comes to specific placements, it’s best to get a grasp of both the planets and the houses.. the easiest way i’ve found to explain it is:
the planets are the expression of energy. the houses are how the energy is expressed. the signs are the manifestation of this energy. all three correspond with each other, i’ll give a basic rundown below!
sun - leo - 5th house = ego/pleasure (of all types)
moon - cancer - 4th house = emotions/inner self
mercury - gemini/virgo - 3rd/6th house = communication/habits
venus - taurus/libra - 2nd house/7th house = love (of all types, not just romantic)/self expression
mars - aries - 1st house = sense of self/drive
jupiter - sagittarius - 9th house = expansion/growth
saturn - capricorn - 10th house = work habits/long-term change
uranus - aquarius - 11th house = higher mind/social self
neptune - pisces - 12th house = the subconscious/hidden matters
pluto - scorpio - 8th house = transformation/sudden
i hope all of this makes sense, please lmk if you have any other questions/anything that needs clarifying!!
