Azula’s R
This animatic by the amazing Emirichu set to the song My R absolutely broke my heart.
If you aren’t familiar with it, My R is a song about a girl who wants to commit suicide, but every time she goes up to the roof to do it, there’s already someone there and she talks them out of it. At last there’s no one and the song ends, implying that she did it. Usually when people make animatics using this they have someone save them at the end.
Now this video? Made me shed real tears. The animation and the vocals are gorgeous, the timing is perfect, and the scenes paired with the lyrics are beautiful. It shows just how much Azula suffered too, and how much she endured. She deserved better and it made me cry for her.

This is my first attempt at an animatic :) It’s pretty shoddy in a few areas, I apologize. I can’t wait to get better though! (Who knew this would take so much time and it’s barely 5 seconds??)
