Something about the ATLA timeline that i never really thought about until recently that REALLY bothers me.

The fire nation royal family tree goes Sozin -> Azulon -> Ozai -> Zuko

We know that 100 years before the current timeline Sozin was very old (he died of old age very soon after burning down the air temples).

Azulon is his son so i assume he was born way before that because who has children at 90. Let's say Sozin had Azulon at 50 even if that itself is unrealistic.

Azulon is alive in Zuko's flashback which makes him like 150 years old. That means he had Ozai at well over 100.

I mean he could've been younger but that would mean Sozin had him at like 90 which is SO confusing.

I feel like there should be another generation there otherwise it looks like everyone except Ozai was old asf when they had children.

Like what do you mean your great grandfather died a 100 years ago?

My great grandma died like like 3 years ago at 85, great grandparents are not THAT far away in the family tree😭

There should DEFINITELY be at least one more generation there, Sozin should have been Zuko's great great grandfather.

Because they won't grow old (naturally), you start getting a mix of people that in canon don't get to interact. (ex. Sozin & Azula). Brainstorming how it would work here was a lot of fun.

avatar roku hate where they blame him for the air nomad genocide pisses me off so bad because roku didn't know sozin would kill the air nomads??? sozin did it after he died. what did y'all want him to do, resurrect himself? "oh but roku should have killed him at the palace, he knew the danger sozin was" he literally threatened sozin's life??? sozin admitted that his plans were only possible if roku was dead. also roku lived in a tense political climate, killing the fire lord definitely would have started some sort of conflict. i've seen people blame roku instead of sozin for the genocide like roku committed the war crime. seriously??? direct your hate to the man who ordered it and not roku.
