Hi! My name’s Atlas. I’m the author of the Sci-fi series “Shades.” I’m looking for folks to beta read a new standalone romance novel called “Steel Your Heart.” Here’s a blurb about it:
Damascus is the director of the Sanctuary - a place that cares for dragons that have been rescued from the evil organization known as Knighthood. Knighthood operates on human-fabricated myth and legend, believing that dragons are evil monsters that must be eradicated, but Damascus knows better. They are beautiful, and shy, and intelligent, and most importantly: they are people.
And he is the only human on earth that knows it. Damascus has spent the last ten years trying to save one dragon: a giant green male whom Knighthood calls 203. Can Damascus manage to scratch the surface of seventeen years of the dragon's trauma, and save his people from humanity's worst, or will the dragon resist and live out the rest of his days haunted by and terrified of everything he sees?

But Atlas! What does beta reading entail?
Glad you asked! Steel Your Heart is divided into 5 parts - you’ll read them one by one, and answer the corresponding Google Forms survey about each of them as you go along. I’m not looking for a specific number of betas, but my goal is to finish the beta-reading process by the end of August this year.
