How would digger and atomic get along?
OH MAN THATS A GREAT QUESTION.
they both have identity issues of different kinds– atomic has bleedover memories from other lalna clones so he sometimes forgets who exactly he is and also spent his entire existence assuming he was the “real” lalna until being told otherwise, while digger is painfully aware that he’s not the real lalna and likes to avoid the other lalna clones for fear of how theyd react to him.
i think atomic would be very curious about digger and how he came to be, although he’d still be somewhat on edge because his experiences with other lalnas has been mostly negative. meanwhile, digger would like to exit the situation asap and would be terrified of what atomic thinks of him :,)
if atomic manages to get past digger’s insecurities, though, then theyd probably be friends! the sort of friends that blow shit up together. although learning that digger is friends with drei and that drei considers him family would be a big scare, seeing as atomic is absolutely terrified of the nano specimens.
actually if digger has his warp arm by the time they meet atomic would be super freaked out and think he’d gotten tainted somehow, which means he gets to spin the wheel of “am i worried and want to help, or do i want to shoot him in case he’s evil and tries to kill me” which is always fun
