my half of an art trade with @ghostywind! i got to lean into my costume design background and come up with some outfits for their lovely Destiny gals, Tallis and Atreya <3 (the figures/heads are their renderings of the characters, the clothes are me) - this was such a fun challenge!!

Dealer's Choice! 🎨🎒🥪🪨

Dealer chooses Atreya. She's my Mycologist high elf spore druid that got turned into a vampire and helped save the world.

🎨 Does your OC have any craft skill, as a hobby or profession? If so which?

Atreya is into fashion and learned to weave! She taught herself from books when she ran away after being turned into a vampire. She wound up in The Dominion which is basically evil vampire empire land, so she didn't stick out. It was a useful distraction and helped pass the time while waiting for her experiments to process. She sold the cloth and networked with the fabric shops, which helped her later when she was forced to work in the Keep. Everyone was tasty there but she kept on top of the fashion trends and even created some herself which gave her some popularity to leverage when she needed something.

🎒 If your OC had to pick three things of all their belongings to keep, which would they chose?

Atreya basically had to do this when she ran from the Dominion (both times). Any research notes definitely got taken or destroyed if the files were too large. She also has to keep a little box of her grave dirt on her or she can't rest. She keeps a personal journal/diary she wouldn't risk anyone getting their hands on. Anything else is basically replaceable and shes gotten used to traveling light and not forming any attachments to objects as they're easily taken.

🥪 On a scale from ‘burns water’ to ‘5 course menu’ how well can your OC cook?

Before she was turned Atreya was probably somewhere in the middle, but maybe a little closer to burns water. She didn't enjoy having to stop her work to make and eat food. Thankfully being upper class meant she had servants for cooking her meals but it still took too much time to sit and eat with people as they expected her to. But has a druid she was involved with plants too often to not know how to prepare them correctly should she need to eat them. Plus when you're researching mushrooms knowing the taste and texture of them is just a must know. As a vampire there's no need and she can't taste anything anyway so her cooking skills aren't great. She would make an effort if someone needed her to but it would be based off of memory of what things taste like so it would either be over spiced or under spiced with no in between unless she's following a strict recipe. Any specific cooking terms in a recipe she would look up but there's only so much you can learn in books.

🪨 Someone gifts your OC a shiny rock. What do they do with it?

Honestly? She'd put it back. What use does she have for a shiny rock unless it has some kind of alchemical use? And she's not much good at throwing things so it's out of the question to use it for a weapon. Unless its someone she cares about that gave it to her then she'd keep it in her garden I guess?? But anyone who knows her wouldn't gift her a rock.
