🎁 - Best gift you ever received and why

Thank you for the ask; it means a lot!

This was actually pretty tough; I’ve gotten some incredible gifts over the years. I have a few, so I hope that’s okay!

1. My friend @runicmagitek has written me some amazing fics over the years and I adore them so much. It means the world that they have taken the time to give me something so personal, and I cherish those stories almost as much as I love them! 2. My friend Khrys made me a figure of Red from Transistor and a Christmas ornament of my late dog Sasha, who I just lost about a month ago. Again, she took the time to make them herself and just for me, which makes them extra special.

oh god i have this when i get bad. sometimes when im mostly okay ill just stare at my arm like move move move and then imagine im moving and i got up and went to make food or smth except no im still lying in bed staring at my arm

I think I've experienced this... but it's like, it's not like i'm totally out of control, i just more feel like every movement is too much effort and it seems insurmountable and i get caught up in arguing with myself??

video, I AGREE i think it’s definitely an ex.dys. thing. and the getting caught up in arguing with yourself--omg. ok do u ever feel like.. it’s happening like just under the surface? like these arguments are swirling around and you just cant grab onto them or like, hook into them and theres like one part of it that’s you-you (the part that’s like DO THE THING GODDAMNIT) and another that’s obviously still you but like ugh idek?? but sometimes it’s not even that clear. idk, like sometimes it doesnt feel like any distinct argument just a sense of conflict, and sometimes it’s like theres multiple streams of it?? it makes me feel like im doing it on purpose and it’s really frustrating bc why would i be doing this on purpose but then... how is it possible that im not????

Ooh, stories? There was the time when I was working at Sears, and Rosh Hashana was on a Thursday evening, and I wasn't supposed to be scheduled. But then, of course, they scheduled me for that evening. Simple mistake. But, when I pointed out the problem to the manager, she asked me if I was really so observant that I needed to be with my family, I mean, I was willing to work on Saturdays, right? Then she noticed that I was staring at her with unlawful discrimination in my eyes, and backed down.

Onetrueharem tagged in me in a question answering/asking post.  Two days ago.  Anyway I'm doing it now.  I'm not going to tag as many people as I'm supposed to, mostly because in all honestly, I kinda lost contact with a lot of my tumblr friends, they either changed their URLs or I don't know if we're friends anymore.  Also I never tag people I know IRL for some reason?  Anyway if I don't tag you and you want to do this, as always, just answer them and be like "Elizabeth tagged me in this lol I guess I gotta do it" and that is cool just tag me in it I want to see it!!

1. Who was your favorite teacher in elementary/primary school and why?

Probably Ms. Saltman, my 4th grade Social Studies teacher, because she was really cool and smart and liked me and also her daughter was my fave babysitter so

I guess ghosts.  UFOs just feel illy to me but I watch a lot of SPN so ghosts are serious shit to me.

4. What’s your choice method of de-stressing after a long day? of being chased by ghosts and UFOs

Doing Killer Sudoku puzzles while listening to Spotify playlists

5. Which of the races from Middle Earth are you?

Umm, I've actually never seen or read anything from the LOTR franchise don't her me please

6. What is your character alignment? (on the lawful-chaotic, good-evil scale)

I know this one.  I'm neutral good.

7. What do you want for your birthday?

That's hard to say, because Christmas just happened and my birthday is in September.   Instead I will answer a slightly different question: What gifts do I want right now?  The answer is Urban Decay liquid eyeliner, pie, and the Icona Pop album

8. Is there a book or movie which you can definitively say changed your life or worldview?

Breakfast of Champions.

9. Alright mr. tough guy, you don’t think ghosts or UFOs are scary, what ARE you scared of?

Failure.  It's not a crippling fear or anything, it's not like I won't try because I fear I will fail.  I guess it's more a fear of not succeeding.

Okay as a comedy writer I suppose I like my... weirdness, I guess?  Like I like the jokes that are funny because they're just very esoteric.  I like my esotericism I suppose.
