hey-- how are you? just wanted to check-in; i love your writing and haven't seen you around as much! no pressure or anything- just hello!

Hello!

Thanks so much for checking in -- that is so kind of you especially because I haven’t been as active. I’m doing well; work is just a LOT right now and I haven’t had the time or inspiration to write much. Which bums me out when i think about it so I’m trying not not think about it or rather have a healthy “art goes through phases” mindset about it. 

I did write basically an entire chapter of It’s Insanity back in December except for like... 400 words that have to go right in the middle... hopefully I’ll finish that one of these days. Also randomly had a day where I full daydreamed a continuation add-on thing to Ice Crew Please but that never made it out of my brain and now I’ve lowkey forgotten it...

Moral of the story: don’t have a real job ever!

It's Insanity, But... is giving me so much life right now! What pairs better with the first cold day of fall then cozying up and read found family fluff? I'm loving it!

so i was 2/3 of the way done another chapter of its insanity but then troye sivan’s “The Good Side” was on SNL and now i can do is watch/listen to that and think of angsty situations to apply it to because the song is gorgeous and i love it

lol, dude, would that i knew. i have two ideas for the next two chapters of its insanity that have been bouncing around for weeks and i just... can’t write them. i mean in fairness, i havent actually, yaknow, opened a document and tried but... idk i hope they pop out at some point.

I just reread ice crew please! for the millionth time and once again the extra of Jack's parent' reactions to him staying for thanksgiving always hits me right in the heart! I could literally read a whole fic that is ice crew please! just from Alicia and Bob's POV, like told through the phone calls they have or something! It's honestly such a sweet story, and a personal go to for me! So thanks for writing and sharing it with us!

Oh I do love a good outsider POV-- and that would be like a good outsider-insider, ya’know what I’m saying?? I probably won’t do it for ice crew BUT i do have a whole bob/alicia outsider POV about Jack’s first year that’s been banging around the brain for a few months now.

Just need to finish up my finals (due Friday) so i actually have time to write it! (And hope that it is still there...)

What's new pussycat (woah)

THIS IS ALL I CAN THINK OF. (it’s the link to John Mulaney’s Salt & Pepper Diner story. go give it another re-watch. i just did).

If this was an honest “whats up” message, I will say I’m taking 4 summer grad classes at once, going away almost every weekend (FOR WEDDINGS DEAR GOD I HAVE GOT TO STOP BEING IN WEDDINGS), and am generally a little stress muffin at the moment. Hence my absence from writing, tumblr, fandom, and fun-activities in general! Hello, everyone! I hope you’re having a good time!

(I leave Thursday for another wedding, but then two of my classes are done on the 24th so I’ll be back! Hopefully!)

So your update to Insanity But had me going back through and re-reading some of your fics and I forgot how much I love the Ice Crew AU! But then it ends with a very sad Kent in the extras!! Did you ever write more of his story? Does he end up interacting more with Will?? The people need to know!

there is a part two to the kent parson ice crew AU– but it’s not quite finished yet– getting a part 3 (or just a full KP Ice Crew AU) is on my to-do list! (My plan is to finish it up and then re-format a full KP chapter of the ice crew so subscribing to that fic even though it’s marked as finished will make sure you see all of it as it finishes– there are maybe a few ideas bouncing around for the main gang too)
