Decided to do the ADHD test for the lulz

Well, it's right about several things. I do, in fact, have memory and attention issues. Kinda the reason I struggled so much at school. Emotional stuff is hard nowadays with my anger issues, but I don't under the "inflexibility" part.

ok but can we talk about how online school is soo bad for neurodivergent people?? like if you have any kind of attention issues it sucks bc (for me at least) there are too many things going on for and i get distracted. and the computer just becomes background noice and i can't listen to a single word my teacher says. and my learning disability is 100 times worse online idk why but i just can't learn like this i hate it here

Most of the youtubers I relate to or really enjoy I later found out have adhd/attention issues and I‘m really still sitting here going „but what if I‘m faking it“

Yo happy Homestuck day!

...and 10th anniversary!

I wanted to draw something special but I think I used up all of April’s chaotic energy reserves on my Geno blog’s April Fools joke, oops.

So instead I think I’m going to just like, reminisce a little on early Homestuck memories. And maybe post some old ass art while I’m at it in a little bit here.

Right off the top of my head here’s some stuff:

Before I got into it I remember like 2 distinct things that pushed me closer to reading it:

1) This huuuge ass post on hemospectrum head cannons mainly related to how anon bloods work and what happens if their blood color gets out. I had no idea it was about HS but I read the whole thing and thought it was super cool! IDK if I’ll ever be able to find the post again though so, RIP.

2) Seeing some girl in one of my highschool computer classes reading it, specifically one of the pages where Sollux is using his eye blasts, and thinking “oh is that what Homestuck is? Nifty :0″

When I did finally start reading it I binged up to like where WV was introduced and for a hot minute there he was my favorite character! He still might be t b h but it’s hard to pick favorites! I love all the characters!!

Then some time later I ended up having a dream about fantrolls and it inspired me to make my first one! I will absolutely not miss the huge anxiety about being ~cannon friendly~ and fearing the ire of ~bad fantroll blogs~ bUT I DIGRESS THIS IS WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE 

He was tiger themed (and despite his blood color was not a clown at all). TBH he didn’t have much personality or anything at this point.

Then sometime latter he looked like this!

This is Jingks! While he’s flip flopped between bronze and purple a lot and has had a TON of redesigns over the years, this bastard still holds an incredibly special place in my heart!

Nowadays he’s permanently a bronze blood looks more like this!

If it’s not obvious like 60% of my continued interest in Homestuck is directly related to fantrolls! Good lord I love fantrolls! I may be a huge weenie who’s bad at interacting with people and sharing my trolls but goodness I just, love them. So much. They’ve been a consistent, positive force in my life! And while I could (and probably will eventually) continue to gush and talk about what my trolls are currently like and what they used to be like and so on I wont for the sake of the length of this post!

I guess in conclusion, I love this dumbass longass comic and everything it spawned! I feel like I owe it a lot.
