I’M SORRY DKJSAHLFKJ. if it makes u feel better i refuse to date smokers but with characters idk a lot of their lifestyles are stressful and they pick up the WORST HABITS (with the exception of frey, he’s just weird).

as for Atticus, he actually quit for a few years for his girlfriend, but after he broke up with her, he was stressed af and Benem being the worst friend imaginable, got him smoking again. so blame Benem for this one

Benem & Atticus earned the nicknames Sticks & Stones when they were part of a gang as teenagers in Queensdale– they were really good at breaking bones with their bare hands. They cleaned up their act as they got older (sort’ve), but they both can still break bones if they have to.
