(wishing we could ask stuff from specific blogs ugh) but HI I just wanted to tell you that 1) your art's amazing and I wish you luck with patreon, but also 2) whenever you're selling hatchlings and write 'dirt for sale', I remember a competition my uncle had with my dad years ago at a Halloween store of who could sell the most ridiculous item, and my uncle won via selling a bag of dirt that he said was from a vampire's coffin

Are you familiar with the Naomi lineage?

TLDR, Shian, the owner of Naomi’s daughter Willow, is hosting an auction for the hatchlings of Willow and Marduk (one of Ignis’ (ID #666) sons); originally Willow was only supposed to have 12 hatchlings leave Shian’s lair, but recently Shian has been accepting (incredibly hefty) bribes to nest her again—after contacting the owners of her original dozen for their input on the matter, which was by all accounts ‘Willow is yours you can do what you want with her.’

Now, in the Willow-Marduk offspring auction thread, someone showed up, pinged the entire ping list for it and went off about it, arguing with Shian on the matter and just generally being an ass.

They then PM’d the following to the owners (at least the active ones) of Willow’s dastardly dozen:

which is.... a pretty clear attempt at drama-mongering.

And they keep saying 13 when only 12 were supposed to leave the lair, which makes their lack of knowledge on the matter pretty clear.

I also have a PM from them from a while ago where they were trying to buy my boy Saraaj (the sixth of the dozen) off of me, so it’s pretty clear they’re only doing this because they want a G3 Naomi descendant but are upset that they can’t afford one from Shian or get another owner to sell theirs, so now they’re just throwing a tantrum and trying to sabotage Shian’s auction.

finally added colour to this, whoops. drew this after i watched Valerian. great movie for pulling on your thought process; the plot is pretty guessable/unsurprising but with the sheer amount of worldbuilding content, i’d recommend it!
