Now shift your attention from that which you're grateful for to the feeling of gratitude itself. KEEP FOCUS ON THAT FEELING!
Gratitude is the absolute best feeling than life can offer you, a warm pleasant glow that stays with you for as long as you focus on it. Even better, it DOES something. People who are grateful are happier, healthier, more successful and generally more fulfilled.
Of course there are many other things you COULD focus on, but instead, simply accept their presence and keep your attention on gratitude. Gratitude has the habit of attracting abundance! It makes you nicer to be near and other people more open to you, and generally brings you MORE things to be grateful for!
I have learned to make Gratitude my default emotion. My life isn't the highest profile, and it is not free of major challenges, but in the main my life is PARADISE. Why? Not because I have done anything spectacular, but because gratitude itself has great power, a power you can only experience yourself by adopting the Attitude of Gratitude.
