Don we now our gay apparel // Troll the ancient Yule tide Carol
@zefylus
It’s the 20th of December, and that, in Jongdae’s book anyway, means Christmas decorations are going up. He’s collected different knick-knacks throughout the year, gleefully pulling out every glittering garland, sparkling bauble, and twinkling light out of the huge box he’s stored under the bed.
Christmas carols are blasting through the speakers, him happily singing along in a mix of Korean, Chinese and broken English. He loves Christmas, loves the warm holiday feeling, his smile growing brighter by the day, nothing able to dampen his spirits.
This year, he thinks, will be even better than usual, as he finally has someone to decorate and celebrate with him. He sends another all caps message to Baekhyun, ordering him to HURRY THE FUCK UP so they can start. He finds reindeer antlers to stick to his head, red-and-silver garland wrapped around his neck, donning his favourite ugly Christmas jumper, his cheeks flushed with excitement as he stares expectantly at the door, his fingers itching with the need to ornament the whole one-bedroom apartment.
