Jack and Black Star's teams (according to my limited knowledge because I still haven't actually read most of the arcade lore yet)

No idea who this guy is but he had a dramatic looking flair to him. He got a very dark team... and somehow no fairy or psychic types. He probably has some tricks up his sleeve to deal with type disadvantages. And I refused to do the obvious and give him either of the pumpkin pokemon. he still ended up with a ghost/grass so it's fine (dark, dark, dark/flying, ghost/grass, dark/ghost, grass/dark)

I do know who Blue is, and Black Star definitely has some Blue vibes (become champion only to lose his title almost immediately, huge asshole but chills a bit as he got older, etc). I was torn between Gardevoir and Gallade but went with Gardevoir since I did Nidoking. And Sneasler is part fighting so it kind of balances out. Scovillain being here is half a joke and probably the most likely to get swapped out (flying/dragon, psychic/fairy, poison/dragon, poison/ground, fighting/poison, grass/fire)

Also I'm going to say Jack has a Ralts as well (from Black Star's Gardevoir) but not on his main team.

Next up Blue Moon/Eclipse... probably.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything he had everything one could desire, he was selfish, vain, and unkind.

But one winter’s night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, Prince Jacques sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away. But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for true beauty is found within.

For his cruelty, she transformed him into a hideous beast and placed a powerful spell on the castle and all who lived there. Ashamed of his monstrous form, the beast hid himself inside his castle, with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world.

The Rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom for many years. If he could learn to love another, and be loved in return, by the time the last petal fell, the curse would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time.

As the years passed, he fell into despair, for who could ever learn to love… a beast? 

Jacques sat at the window, watching the wind whisper through the garden far below. The only motion those paths would ever see now, he thought.

Baron Jack Starkey

Jack Starkey has the commodity of textile makings under his thumb. He works with the other barons to secure commodities for his people. As he holds a certain hold of power he is one of the richer Barons. Since gold isn’t really as much of a necessity as food or water things have gone back to bartering. He is a young Baron and has been nicknamed the “People's baron.”His people are the best dressed but not always the well fed. He never eats more than his people and when his people starve he does too. He has recently accepted a deal where he will marry the daughter of Baron Flint in exchange for that Baron having secure ties to his textiles and his people having secure ties to the water commodity.

Embarrassment didn’t begin to cover it. Jack had been caught, again. But this time, they were more scared of him than he was of them. As the fishermen pulled him from the sea, tangled in the net, they panicked, dropping him and running.

Now the net was caught on one of the rocks jutting from the sand, and Jack couldn’t get far enough into the water to get away. Not that he had tried - his flute had fallen just outside of his reach. He strained against the net, struggling to get his flute.

When he heard a sound contrary to that of the waves - a signal that someone was coming - he stopped and played dead, hoping they wouldn’t pay any attention to him.
