Joined the army at 18 and quickly moved up the ranks, eventually making it through special forces training and joining the green berets as a sergeant. But after ten years of service, one of those pranks he loved to pull went terribly, terribly wrong. What was supposed to be just a puff of smoke turned into a full blown explosion that injured ten people and ended up killing one. Because of this stunt he gets dishonorably discharged and sent to prison for some time. Once he gets out though, he doesn’t know what to do. He has no family, none of his army friends will talk to him anymore, he can’t find a job because of his record. So he does the only thing he really knows how to do, knows that he’s good at doing: Killing. At first it's working security for Black Mask and Penguin, but it becomes more than that. He quickly becomes a new gun for hire and assassin in the criminal underground. After a while, people start calling him Deadknight and he just goes along with it. But then Batman starts snooping around and arrests him for his crimes. Of all the prisons, he gets sent to Belle Reve, where he is almost immediately recruited to join Task Force X.

Eventually, she gained the rank of Colonel and it is at this point that her alien ancestors reached out to her and tried to bestow the full powers of the Oracle on her. She denies these powers, but is honorably discharged from the service because she hid that she was a metahuman. Waller hears about this Colonel with metahuman abilities and immediately recruits her to be the commanding officer of Task Force X. She has been commanding the ragtag bunch for about 2 years when Deadknight joins the squad.

Appearance: He looks like Gilbert. He wears Teutonic Knight Armour. 

Best and worse “stats”: He has no stats. He is a Real Person.

Class: A proud Teutonic Knight, Thank You Very Much.

Abilities: No magic, except being able to recite Bible verses fast enough to dizzy someone. but he is armed with a sword, a bow and arrows, and some knives. He’s also very skilled on horseback.

Background: Gilbert was a proud Teutonic Knight, residing in Königsberg and serving his Order proudly. He became a distinguished Knight, participating regular in annual reyse through the Lithuanian forests - those were just glorified murder sprees of the local Pagans, really, but it was all in the name of the righteous God, of course.

One day, while out with his horse, he came upon an abandoned village formerly populated by the dreaded Prussian pagans. He discovered there was one yet person remaining - an old woman, who spoke their accursed language. About to strike her down - not allowing any survivors, she spoke to him strange, calming words, and soon everything fell away from reality.

When Gilbert came-to, he had his horse and he was back in the forest. There was no village to be found - nobody at all, really, not even his fellow Knights. Walking through the forest he came upon a terrifying monster, and struck it down in in terror. Further walking, he encountered a city, full of very peculiar creatures that he had never met before. Certainly, he was far away from Königsberg...and he had no idea how to get home.

A profile for the Yo-kai Watch Mystery Dungeon AU thing I made. Name: Nate Adams/Fuu2, Katie Forester/Mifu (Like in the original game, Nate and Katie’s first names can be changed, but their last names and Yo-kai names stay the same) Bio: A normal human child that was transported to the Yo-kai Realm after opening a strange capsule and is now a Yo-kai trying to get back to the Human Realm. Other: - When the player says that they’re human, they are often refered to as a Bridge-gapper, which is a term in this AU that refers to humans that are special enough to visit the Yo-kai Realm without having to die first. - Bridge-gappers are stated to be a sign of peace and hope for a future in which Yo-kai and humans can get along. (In this AU, Yo-kai have to stay in the Yo-kai Realm and can only come to the Human Realm during Halloween or any occasion where Yo-kai can blend in among humans.) - There’s a legend that’s passed along many generations that says that if enough Bridge-gappers visit the Yo-kai Realm, the Yo-kai will be free to visit the Human Realm whenever they wish. - While in the Yo-kai Realm, they go by their Yo-kai name unless they trust someone enough to use their actual name with them. - The player could attend school in the Yo-kai Realm, but since this takes place during the summer, they can only visit the school and not learn anything. Whisper teaches them about the Yo-kai Realm in any way to make up for that. - Before they are well known enough in the Yo-kai Realm, the player pretends to be a relative of Whisper. Even after the events of the game, they still playfully refer to Whisper as their relative.

Name: Gilbert Beilschmidt Gender: Male Age: 38 Occupation: Professional Quidditch Player. He’s Team Captain and plays as Keeper ,but he’s also a pretty solid stand-in Beater.

Wand: White Pine from the Black Forest, with Unicorn hair. He refused a wand that chose him that had wood from a Bavarian forest, so this was second-best.

Familiar: He doesn’t have any. He probably has a dog at home.

Patronus: An X-Wing, from Star Wars. Because he loves Star Wars.

Appearance: White hair, red eyes, and numerous scars all over from various Quidditch mishaps. But he has a muscular, athletic body and usually wears either casual clothes, or his Quidditch Uniform.

Personality: Gilbert can be pretty quiet at first when you meet him, almost bashful or shy, but he’s endlessly inquisitive and the Magical world still fascinates h im, despite living in it for so long. Because of that, he makes every effort to learn as much about magic and the world around him as he can. He’s charismatic on the field and in front of an audience. He knows how to talk well and knows what to say. He’s charming to the ladies - but if you incite his anger, his slight anger management issues will emerge. He’s been a fighter his whole life, and that’s never left him.

Talents & Abilities: He has enormous talent on the broomstick, as well as strategically analysing matches and strategies. He’s a keen observer and learns very quickly. Quidditch is what he knows best simply because that’s what’s kept him going - he couldn’t learn spells on his own, but he could try to fly a broomstick. It came to him quicker than anything else. Because of this, he’s had the longest Quidditch career of almost anyone else in history - 19 years. He’s hit his peak, however, and after the World Cup Finals, he’s set to retire - win or lose.

History: Gilbert was born in East Berlin, East Germany, in 1980. His family history is unique and tragic - his father, a wizard. His mother - maybe a witch? Maybe not? He’ll never know. Gilbert’s magical family history is unknown. His father had magical ability, but never knew it. East Germany was very strict about who could and could not learn magic, and thousands of citizens went “uneducated” under the communist regime. His father died, trying to fly an enchanted broomstick he had found and had mastered over a border checkpoint, and was struck down.

Gilbert was orphaned by age 9, and was homeless until he was 17. He kept his father’s mysterious broomstick the entire time. Through Reunification, he sought answers to the object, and his own mysterious abilities. He learned of magic through chance, and gained access to the magical world. He learned of magic from a distance, unable to learn or participate without proper education He began playing professional Quidditch at 17 - the only magical thing he remotely connected to through the broomstick - and began his magical training through schooling just when most others would end theirs, at 18. He was a minor celebrity for his talent, and a role model for other East Germans who began their magical journey later in life after reunified Germany stepped in to find these “lost magicians”.

By 25 he was well-rooted into the life of a Quidditch player and had completed his formal magical education. Through wins and losses, he moved through the ranks and now, in 2018, he’s the team captain for Team Germany in the World Cup, about to play his very last match.

Quirks & Hobbies: Gilbert LOVES films. He’s a huge film buff and his “dream job” outside of Quidditch is a film critic. This started when he was a teenager, and movies were cheap entertainment that he would use to distract himself. He still loves movies of all kinds, and advocates his magical friends to watch as well.

He’s not the best at magic. He often mistakes spells, and if cornered, he’ll just choose to beat the shit out of someone instead. He’s very good at doing that. He may or may not have been taught how to use Dark magic accidentally. There’s a long story behind that one.

& Perhaps because of his rough, “non-magical” upbringing, or perhaps closer to the fact that he could not legally practice magic until he was in his mid-20′s, Gilbert does not often use magic in his daily life. He’ll choose to do everything himself, and often misplaces his wand. This has caused him to try and dabble in wandless magic, mostly trying to re-create motions and skills from Star Wars, using the Force. He wants to think he’s a Jedi more than a wizard.

Another Yo-kai Watch Mystery Dungeon AU Profile thingy.

Blurb: What is their motive for helping you? Freedom? Friendship? Something else? (Note: This would apply to any Yo-kai that befriended you in this AU.)

Bio (Whisper): The player’s first friend and guide to the Yo-kai Realm. All he wants is to get them home safely, but is there another reason?

Bio (Jibanyan): A newcomer to the Yo-kai Realm and the second friend of the player. He joins the player and Whisper on their journey to help the player get home after they save him from a tight spot, but will he end up becoming too attached to the player and Whisper?

Other:

- Whisper is what is known as a Dream-gapper.

- Dream-gapper is a term similar to a Bridge-gapper except that Bridge-gappers are exclusively human while a Dream-gapper is interchangable between humans and Yo-kai.

- Yo-kai that are Dream-gappers are able to communicate to humans in their dreams without having to leave the Yo-kai Realm, further removing the gap between humans and Yo-kai.

- The Royal Family are well known for being Dream-gappers while there are very few Yo-kai outside of the Royal Family are Dream-gappers.

- Whisper, the player (completely forgot to mention it in their profile, but I didn’t think of a good name for this term until know), Komasan and Komajiro, and Yo-kai that are already famous and well known the Human Realm are some of the confirmed Dream-gappers in this AU.

- Whisper and Mitsunari’s/Waitington’s relationship is a bit different in this AU. Whisper has talked to him in his dreams, but they never discussed anything relating to battle or the like. They just enjoyed having peaceful moments together.

- Whisper never inspirited him and when Mitsu/Waiti died, he was upset, but he remembered that he would live on his dreams.

- Whisper lays low on many Yo-kai’s radar due to his repuation as a ‘know-it-all’. (In this AU, it’s a heated debate about whether or not Whisper was faking being a know-it-all to draw attention away from being a Dream-gapper.)

- Dream-gappers outside the royal family are often tracked down to figure out how they developed the ability. Whisper was curious about how he became a Dream-gapper, but he didn’t like the idea of being tested, so he laid low with his ability until the player came to the Yo-kai Realm.

- Whisper only uses his inspiritment when he or someone he’s with needs to make a quick getaway. (It acts like a smokescreen that makes whoever breathes it in act like know-it-alls. It’s why Yo-kai tend to avoid Whisper at all costs, otherwise they’ll risk saying something stupid.)

- Jibanyan isn’t a Dream-gapper. He had actually been looking for one in hopes of being able talk to his former owner Amy.

- It’s implied that he has separation anixety, often refusing to leave Whisper or the player’s side.
