“In regards to why you round up when at the halfway point, a teacher described it to me like this: say you’re swimming to an island and you make it halfway. You decide it’s not worth it and turn around and go back. But by doing that, you essentially swam the whole distance. So you were better off continuing,” Sakuya explained. “So basically, you round up because it makes more sense.”
