Cet après-midi, je suis tombé sur une vidéo de gens cosplayant Clark Kenth et Jimmy Olsen, mais j'ai mis TELLEMENT de temps avant de capter que non, ce n'était pas un cosplay de Van Der que voici un AU pour vous aujourd'hui : Henri est Superman
C'est tout. Il retire les lunettes pour se présenter en tant que Superman, puis les remet quand il doit être Henri Castafolte, et comme c'est un scientifique ultra doué, bah ses lunettes ont vraiment la capacité de camoufler la façon dont les gens reconnaissent son visage, en plus de sa capacité à modifier sa voix (parce qu'il est un robot, oui, mais contrairement à dans le vrai univers, lui seul sait qu'il est un robot de base, tant il est humaniste)
So @agent-macleod wrote up a little AU (I suppose it’s technically an Elseworlds?) idea for a hippy Superman set in the 1960′s. I thought it was a pretty cool idea and decided to draw up what I thought this Supes’d look like!
Presented here in both eye-bleeding psychedelic and sane-plain white for giving your eyes a rest. Anyway, let’s waffle on design!
Had a couple of google image pages up with both 60′s Hippy fashion and traditional Kryptonian fashion up and decided to pinch bits from both. The way I figured he designed his outfit was combining his Kryptonian heritage with the trends of his adopted home. To sort of represent both. I experimented at the design stage with tie-dye possibilities but it wasn’t clicking. I also swapped the cape out for a long flow-y sleeveless coat-thing. And got rid of his sleeves on the top as well. Stuck some tassles on for no real reason. And gave him some necklaces and a peace-symbol medallion and a headband. To hold back that hippy longhair he has. Really pleased with how this one came out.
Oh, and the writing on his lower cape-pants thing say “PEACE” and “LOVE” in the Kryptonian Alphabet.
Merry Christmas guys! Clark and Diana’s Christmas card with Baby on the Way, sent out to fellow Justice League members (hence Diana wearing a Wonder Woman logo t-shirt) and the top picture, taken on the Watch Tower during the annual JL Christmas Party. ;) Alexandra became a new addition pretty early on since Diana got pregnant a year after the wedding.

Just some sketches from this past week as I pick away at some costume concepts for Wonder Woman and Superman. Dunno if they’ll stick around or not...
I did a second pass for the Justice League: Unlimited-styled SuperWonderFam (now that I have a solid design for their costumes and looks) due to the fact that I’m watching a ton of JLU right now. I also used model sheets this time, so that makes them look more accurate (I used Stargirl for Supergirl since the Supergirl model sheet for JLU makes her look older)! I modified Supes’ design a bit--namely the eyes--because it always bugged me that everyone else had detailed eyes but him. :\
