For most people he wouldn’t exactly give them such a clingy welcome home, but Johnny wasn’t most people. Truth be told he was planning on practically tackling him the second he saw him, and he had to remind himself to have a little restraint so he wouldn’t hurt his friend.
Throwing his arms around him and almost knocking them both over, “Welcome back, Matchstick.” Beaming from ear to ear, “Planet wasn’t the same without you.”
The moment that Johnny spotted Peter with open arms, the pace definitely picked up-- not that he’d admit it or anything... The blond threw his arms around Pete and the action was reciprocated, though with a whole lot more strength behind it than he himself could muster. Somedays Johnny really wished he’d gotten super-strength thrown in with his powers.
He felt his feet rise a few inches from the ground and at this stage Johnny had to squirm a little, arms pinned to his side in one of the most violent displays of affection he had ever been involved in. “Pete-- PETE-- Might be an on-fire-guy but I ain’t invincible--”
