notebook: do you draw during class? are they doodles are full blown drawings?

i am 100% far too guilty of this, and it’s so weird because no one else i know does it??? anyway mostly doodles (for example today i was drawing phoenix best as alana from memory), but on occasion i am known to go the extra mile and spend entire sessions Not Doing My Work (which is a very bad thing) and try to perfect laura dreyfuss’ expression during requiem. which. hmm. i might go through and post some i’ve done this year. oh also, i always always always jot down song lyrics everywhere when i’m bored, and i’ve recently taken to drawing stars on my laptop in pencil

oh boy uhhhhhhhhhh i don’t know. it’s kinda sad but like, any moment when i really feel included in something? i’m gonna say last year’s formal, because i was sat at a table with some of my best friends, and we were just dancing like we didn’t care and having a good time. plus my dress was cute + someone captured a photo of my friend and i slow dancing to stand by me, all the while trying not to laugh our heads off

Yes! 14 of them (12 novels and 2 short story collections) written by Ian Fleming, himself a former intelligence officer. All delightfully pulpy but still deeper and more nuanced than the movies.

Bond is a cranky puppy, perpetually between 35 and 45 actual timeline be dammed, who hates killing, loves M (his words), has Discourse on the proper way to eat eggs and falls in love with any pretty woman he meets in 5 seconds flat. These books are very shippy.

Very few of the movies actually adapt the books, and those who do still fuck up important things (like not making the Bond Girl, who in the books are very different from each other and usually pretty awesome, a useless lump).

(There's also books written by other people but I don't count those as canon and neither should you)
