Back at it with another casting call. This time it’s not just for VAs. Artists and editors are also needed. It’s called The Adventures of Captain Flame, until we find a better title. But what is this thing?
The Adventures of Captain Flame’ is a Science Fiction Action Drama with a teaspoon of comedy. Taking place in the year 2315, it follows the crew of a Mercenary ship “The Insatiable” throughout deep-space, headed by the grizzled veteran, Captain Flame. Our main cast consists of Ice-cream loving dork, Kleid; Adventurous and optimistic Sergeant Radan Gallagher; Businessman and PR Manager, Mr. Emoji; Snippy Computer whiz, Thing 2 Squared; and stoner mechanic, Nate “Hovercow”. Our mercs face off against the Corporate Bankers, Platinumsacks, led by a very sleazy and dangerously suave Commodore Venti.
This project will be episodic, so there may be long breaks between scripts and calls .

Script piece below with instructions included.
Heya! So, you wanna audition, huh?
Well, feel free to read this entire thing, or only the provided lines. It's up to you how you want to go about this; some people are method actors, and others read only the lines provided to them. Whatever you want to do for this audition, all I ask is you show me who you are, and I promise you that I'll assign you to the role that I feel best fits you.
I'm also going to need you to say this for legal reasons:
I, the speaker( Say your name here... Not this text, your name.. Are you still reading this part aloud? Oh jeez, well please say your name so people know you mean yourself, thanks: I, the Speaker, __________ ), hereby offer my vocal recordings to be used in the show within the intended purposes of the creator of The Black Sea, i.e. representation of a character within the Black Sea series, and creative commons uses so long as used without monetary gain, commercial use, and so forth, and understand that upon submitting an audition piece, it may very well be posted publically. I won't regret this at all whatsoever. Hopefully anyway. Also, Cecil-Marie Graham is really cute. And a total sucker. Ha ha ha. I have to read whatever's written as a form of agreement. Okay, but seriously, as someone Auditioning, I understand that my voice will be used as representation of a fictional character in The Black Sea podcast series.
Thanks for that. It's not all that important, but it's just a precaution to keep you, the speaker, from coming back like "I NEVER GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO USE THIS!" That kind of thing; I, the writer, would like for that much to be as straightforward as possible.
Anyway, thanks a ton, so moving on, let's get moving onto the actual lines I'd like for you to read.
The following aren't actual lines from the script, but they're monologues, and back and forths to test your voice, and what you feel most comfortably capable of. Try not to think too hard about it either!
(Keep in mind you're welcome to read straight through and take pauses between lines to decide on which voice you'd like to give each character, but again, don't think too hard about it, and have fun with it! Also, please do not add music!)
[ Scene: The Situation ]
A: Uh... Captain, I think we have a problem
B: I'm not the Captain.
A: Who is the Captain?
B: I killed him.
A: wHY would you do thaT????
B: I was hungry.
[ Monologue ]
Sometimes I think about the universe, in all of its expanse, and how it is indifferent; in some ways, due to that, it is unkind, but in others, it's much more grand than believed. In most cases though, its indifference is a comfort; there are no expectations the universe has for us, except to exist. That's one of the best things about Welcome to Night Vale, and one of the things I hope to help create through The Black Sea. That, despite how we may feel panicked and terrified in the moment, it will pass, and we will continue on. We can get through so much, even when we feel like we won't.
If you ever have a moment where you feel alone, please remember there are people here for you, people who love you; there is a community that will welcome you, when it is terrifying, or when you are terrified, in your moments of uncertainty, the moments you hide, and want no one to see. In a world that teaches you to be less vulnerable, remember this: it is okay to be a little vulnerable. It is okay to be ignorant, and it is okay to learn. None of us are born with the knowledge of anything, but somehow we are taught that we should be.
Things will be okay. Keep breathing. All of us need you.
//And since I can't do history (look up Hedylogos and see how much history you can find on him), I suppose personality shall do.
Hedylogos is actually very classy and usually very good at keeping his temper unless one gets in the way of his work. He will always try to help those he feels deserve it most. And being god of sweet talk and flattery, of course he could talk himself or anyone else out of certain situations but he only does so in case of emergencies. Though he prefers not to. Every other time, Hedylogos is completely sincere with his flattery.

No need to look it up, darling, I know. Anyway, gods mostly always have the same kind of backstory, i.e being godly and doing godly stuff. Unless they ate their kids or waged some kind of important war, there isn't much to say. So, yeah. This is rather short, but it'll do.
Activity Level: Sorry I need to be honest, 7 out of 10.

Character Desired: Caleb Williams
Why do you want this character?: Basically I've been roleplaying girl characters for like... forever and I only have a handful of male characters. And I think it would be fun if I roleplay this character for a change.
