365 Days of Charity Dingle: Day 50
Kim: *internally* Wait, is she into me? Quick, make a bad joke and see if she laughs.
Kim: Did you hear the one about the skeleton who couldn’t go to the party? He had no body to go with.
Trini: *laughing* That’s really funny!
Kim: *internally* Well, that’s not a fair test - that joke’s hilarious.
Dinosaur Deckbuilding: Triassic Egg
As we approach the upcoming release of Ixalan and the invariable rise of the Dinosaur Nation at Commander tables worldwide, I think it’s important that newer players interested in constructing the tribe be aware of the tools they have at their disposal. Triassic Egg is an interesting little card originally from Legends and later reprinted in Chronicles, from a time when Magic was willing to make real-world references. The card is flavorfully perfect for the Dinosaur deck, and as the tribe is starting to look like it’ll have a high average mana cost, the card also serves a purpose in the deck. Being able to either cheat a creature out early or return something straight to the battlefield from the yard are both helpful options for a heavily creature-oriented list. Competitive-minded players might think it’s a little cute, but if you’re building to a heavy theme this is a card worth considering.
megamind fandom, i hope you’re aware of this. and i hope you’re aware that megamind 100% does this in his free time.
Argue whether yelling at your enemy is a free action or a bonus action.
