Day 5: Favorite Dad!Bellamy/ familial scene (can be AU)

Bellamy is a single dad to a ten-year old boy named Gus. They don’t live in luxury and Bellamy spends his time spread between three jobs trying to give his son as much as he can, so he doesn’t feel left behind and can always have everything he needs.

Gus always notices when his dad is tired, when he walks slower or has too many cuts and blisters on his hands from his construction work or when his back hurts from lifting heavy things, so he urges him to come to bed with him at night and read him a story, knowing his dad’s favorite thing in the world is just being there with him.
