The fact that Henry didn’t ask Jen to keep raising robot Charlie. In fact, he asked her to “keep the closest shut” and destroy everything. But she didn’t, because unlike Henry, she loved robot Charlie, who was just as human as everyone around her except for her body.

Why do I think she’s human? Because she was made with human emotion, grief, and she feels human emotion too. She feels happiness, sadness, anxiety, and love. Look at her reaction to the date with John… Silly….

Jen’s first reaction to robot Charlie was “Of course she does [walk and talk], Henry. Everything you build can walk or talk. But the reason this one seems so real is because you’re destroying your mind with these frequencies and codes.”

But after spending time with her, she came to love her, and I think that’s inevitable due to the humanity that’s a part of Charlie. It wasn’t just Jen. She had several friends who would do anything for her. John who’d quite literally fight God for her. The only reason Henry didn’t love her is because he was looking for a perfect replacement that could never be found. To Jen, robot Charlie wasn’t a “replacement.” She was her own person.

I have always loved The Silver Eyes more than I loved the games. I have always loved Charlotte, Henry, William and Jen more than I loved the games.

The first fanfiction I ever wrote was a prequel story to The Silver Eyes that centered the relationship between William and Henry, explored and followed the backstory we're given in the books for what happened.

It has never been about remnant or the missing children or the animatronics themselves, which is why you could not put a gun to my head to get me to write a story I like about those things.

Charlotte herself from that very same novel was my first taste of gender euphoria, pretending to be her online when I was 11-12 so that I could be addressed as a girl through her.

It has never been about Five Nights at Freddy's. It has been about a very specific part of a very specific book.

This isn't to say I don't like the games, but what I like as a fan and what I like as a writer are two completely different things.

The Silver Eyes marked the birth not only of my identity as a writer but also my identity as Abigail. The reason why I am here today writing about this and using that name for myself is partially because of that book. It is as close to being a part of me as a literal organ.

The reason why none of my writing centers the animatronics or possession or Michael Afton is because that has never been what interests me. I have always loved this one book. It has made me who I am today. It is the root of two of the most foundational parts of my being.

So I should not blame myself for my work not resembling Five Nights at Freddy's, for that has never been where my heart truly lies.

Jenposting again. She raised Charlie to be practical. She raised her to always carry a torch in her car. Hell, she probably taught her how to drive, how to sew a button, how to cook. Do you understand? She taught a robot how to survive because her flesh and blood niece couldn’t. Because her brother couldn’t. Because she loved her.

Jen died alone, at the hands of something with her niece’s face, powered by her bother’s despair, and her last thoughts were Charlie. Not the dead girl but the one she raised. Her daughter, really.

Hey gang, just wanted to give an update on those FNaF Reference Documents I've been making! A HUGE update is on the way for those who have access already so I feel it's major enough to warrant a heads up, if you follow me elsewhere or speak to me on Discord you'll know already what's about to hit. With that said FNaF art is still mostly on hold until those are done and Frights specifically is on hold as I'll be focusing my attention on the Novel Trilogy Characters!! I haven't been the best at keeping up to date with them here tho so before I begin redesigning them here's all my current designs for everyone!

Henry, father of the year.

Anyways, long rant about this, which 50% of it is just me listing examples.

Charlie is Henry's daughter. He brought her to life. He raised her for the first 2-4 years of her life (hurray for bad math + recons). He is her father, even if it's not by blood.

She's fully sentient. She has emotions, thoughts, opinions, and free will.

When Charlie no longer gives him joy, he wants her to be locked up and burned. I understand he may of not known she was actually alive, but she really wasn't hurting anyone. She had friends she brought joy to. There was no harm in letting her live. And again, we as the readers know that Charlie is truly alive.

But he doesn't see that. He doesn't see the girl: with friends, whom doesn't like seeing toys be taken apart, whom would end a friendship if they didn't like her toys, whom droped a jar of beads, because she was qurious what the after math would be, whom gave her friend's writing 2 stars, whom had a crush on the boy always covered in dirt, whom found her friend barfing on the rude kid funny, and then felt bad about finding it funny, whom imitated her father by doing paper work with crayons, whom was scared of foxy, nor whom hated being called Charlotte by anyone, but her father.

He saw a doll to replace his previous daughter. When she stopped making him happy, he wanted to lock her up for decades, and then finally have her burnt. If she were to survive, and manage to crawl out the rubble, he ordered her aunt to put a bullet in her.

She was "7" when he told his sister these instructions.
