Ashai had not allowed himself a moment's rest, and it showed in his tired eyes, that he had not stopped healing Shunbai from the moment they found a safe place to sit.
"I'm sorry, if I had been quicker pulling you out of there... Mayhap you wouldn't have ended up in such a critical condition..."
"...You weren't lying about your healing talent, that's for sure."
Their eyes met briefly, and Ashai's could not hide the surprise in them. His features softened into a weak smile, and he refocused on mending the others' afflictions.
"..Just don't let that turn you reckless."
