ON THIS DAY ... in 1984 - AUSGANG 35 photos of the human goth fireworks exploding at Dingwalls on January 16th 1984 at https://mickmercer.substack.com/ - free to subscribe or just click 'no thanks' and it lets you straight in.
The mighty AUSGANG at Dingwalls, concluding this series of picture, as I posted the first set from this gig last year. If only I could find it I have a good recording of this gig I made that the band could consider lifting some tracks from on bandcamp perhaps? (I do plan to go through all my tape boxes this year, so I’m optimistic.)
Mark (aka Max, vocalist) is hard at work writing a book about his and the band’s adventures from the late 70’s with The Solicitors, on through Kabuki and then Ausgang from the early 80’s right up to today. He has amassed a huge stockpile of relevant visual material so maybe one book won’t be sufficient? There may even be a possibility of their old fanzine Stab The Sun reappearing at some point, which would be brilliant.
Tomorrow I’ll bring you 29 photos of DAISY CHAINSAW at the Dome from January 1991.
