This Clay powder is the ultimate combination of natural clays, crushed Quartz & Tonka Bean. When I first started to use clay masks I was frustrated to find that I had to purchase multiple kinds (often in large quantities) to get the results I wanted. This mask is the ultimate combination of Bentonite, Rhassoul and Kaolin clay. It is infused with fine-milled Quartz and Tonka Bean ferment. The quartz acts as a light exfoliator, so whilst the clays are pulling oils and dirt out of the skin, this helps to clean off the remnants. The Tonka Bean ferment is an amazing ingredient. Tonka Bean is the fruit of the Dipteryx Odorata tree that grows in South America. These ancient trees can live for over a 1000 years! The beans are harvested by hand, this provides a crucial income for rural families who care for the trees. Our ingredients are all Fair-trade sourced. In ancient folklore, it was thought that if you grasped three Tonka Beans in your palm and made a wish then it would come true! Whilst I cannot promise that grasping your jar of Australian Sands will make all your wishes come true, it will give you an airbrushed glow! The Tonka Bean is a natural optical brightener, meaning that it helps with uneven skin-tone, brightens, and fights against extrinsic damage.
