Everyone was at the Shiomi Seminar. Yukihira and Ryou were at the Shiomi seminar to do taste comparisons with Akira from their final dishes in the Autumn Elections. Takumi and Isami were there because Takumi wanted to challenge Souma. Nikumi wanted to be close to Yukihira. Megumi and Alice had accompanied them for support with the dishes. Erina was there only because there was a storm brewing outside. Jun was just really happy that Hayama-kun finally had friends of his age. However the storm outside worsened within minutes. Trees had been broke from the strong gusts of winds everyone was stranded inside and couldn’t leave. For their safety, everyone went into a windowless room because something could come flying through the window and harm a student. Jun had provided pillows and blankets to help keep warm. Then the lights went out and some of the girls started to panic.
“Hayama-kun come with me to the basement to grab some candles and flashlight” Jun instructed him as he pulled out his phone and use it as a light source.
“Wait, Jun I think we have a flashlight in here somewhere”, Hayama was rummaging through some draws when he found one, “Ah Ha” he turned on the flashlight and it flickered on then handed it to Yukihira, “Here take this so everyone has light to see while Jun and I go get more.”
“Ah Thanks Akira, You and Shiomi sensee be careful and hurry up back.” Yukihira took the flashlight and shined it one everyone else as Jun and Hayama left the room.
Megumi stood in between Takumi and Isami looking like she was really worried. Alice was attached to Ryou as he covered her with a blanket. Nikumi was hidden under her covers next to Erina , who tried to seem brave so she doesn’t look weak.
“Ahhh souma -Kun. What do we do. Where trapped in the middle of a bad storm”, Megumi started to freak out a little.
“We just need to stay calm and wait it out for a while” Ryou said in a monotone voice while Alice squeezed his arm.
“I hate really bad storms. They scare me Ryou-chan. Make it stop” she pouted while surrounding herself with the blanket.
A loud bang shook the building from the thunder and the sound of a window being broken. The loud bang was enough to rattle almost everyone. Nikumi squealed from the sound and was shivering under the blanket. Alice pushed herself into Ryou as if she was trying to become one with him. Erina looked a little rattle. Isami comforted Takumi making sure he didn’t have a heart attack. Yukihira was taking care of Megumi making sure she doesn’t faint. Everyone was on edge from the storm.
“h-h-hey, w-w-whats t-t-taking t-them s-s-so l-l-long. T-they s-should’ve b-b-been b-back b-by n-n-now” ,Nikumi stuttered from fear
“Ahhhh! What if something happened to them. Oh No, what should we do”, Megumi worried.
“They’re fine guys. It’s just a storm, nothing to be so worried about. It’s not like there s a monster inside trying to kill us.”, Erina tried to brush off her nerves.
“WHHHY WOUUULD YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT”, Nikumi and Takumi yelled at her in unison looking paranoid.
“he he he, Ne~ Nii-chan are you scared that a monster will come and get you” teased Isami
“SHUT UP ISAMI. STOP MAKING FUN OF ME”,Takumi yelled while his brother snickered at him.
While everyone upstairs was trying to stay calm in their situation, Jun and Hayama walked downstairs to the basement with the limit light source from his phone.
“Jun, be careful going down the . . .”, Hayama heard a couple of thuds from Jun slipping, “stairs—“, he sighed to himself.
“I-I’m o-o-kay, Hayama-kun” she stood up rubbing her bottom, which took most of the fall damage, "It’s really dark and damp down here” she huffed as Hayama came by her side.
“Are you hurt anywhere, Jun?” Hayama asked.
“AHHH! HAYAMA-KUN, DON’T SNEAK UP ON MY LIKE THAT! YOU SHOULD MAKE SOUND WHEN YOU WALK OR ELSE YOU’RE GONNA GIVE SOMEONE A HEART ATTACK!”, she pouts while frailing her arms in the air.
“Ah Sorry Jun, Are you hurt anyway though?” he asked again while looking at their surroundings. It was a big mess down there. Boxes were everywhere piled on top of one another forming a maze like route for them to walk.
