Send a Pairing and a Line of Dialogue for a Drabble!

           “Hello!” Erencalled as he swung back into the apartment. “I’m back from class! And I stoppedby the grocery store like you told me to!”

           He was met withsilence, but that wasn’t unusual; Armin was taking his MCAT in two weeks, andspent most of his time locked in their room studying. He’d gotten used to thestudious silence over the past few months, and instead of getting annoyed byit, it only made him love the blonde more. Armin’s passion for his studies was oneof the most endearing things about him. It also helped that studying so hardfor so many hours a day meant that by the time he called it a night, all Arminwanted to do was cuddle. And if there was one thing Eren loved almost as muchas he loved Armin, it was cuddling with Armin.

           The one thingthat was unusual about the silent greeting was the fact that Eren was currentlydog sitting for Levi and Petra. And their black lab, Beatrice, at only one yearold, had endless bounds of energy. She was usually waiting at the door wheneverEren or Armin came home, jumping up and down and trying to lick them to death.

           But there wasno Beatrice. That was disconcerting.

           Eren slowlybegan to panic as he relocked the door, slipped off his shoes, and threw hisbag by the door. Did Armin have her outside for a walk? No, Armin’s shoes werestill on the mat, and the leash was right next to them. Maybe she’d gottenlocked in the bathroom again? No, then she’d be crying. Had he left the dooropen when he’d left that morning and she’d escaped?

           Heart ratestarting to beat faster, Eren ran for the bedroom, pushing open the door andpeering inside. “Hey, Armin, have you seen the…?” Eren paused abruptly as hewalked into the bedroom, eyes taking in the sight of Beatrice nestled next toArmin on the bed. The black lab had her body tucked inside the curve of hisboyfriend’s abdomen, her head resting on top of his legs. Both were fast asleep,Armin with his glasses still on and notebooks strewn all around. “Oh.” Erensmiled.

           The brunettemoved into the room on tiptoe, careful not to wake either of them up. He gentlyreached over the dog and pulled off Armin’s glasses with a practiced ease afteryears of having to remove the frames when the blonde would fall asleepstudying. Despite his gentle movement, Armin’s eyelids fluttered as Eren tookaway the glasses, giving way to tired blue eyes.

           “Eren?”

           “You fellasleep again,” the brunette smiled, carding a hand through Armin’s hair.

           Blonde eyebrowscreased with sleepy confusion. “But if you’re there, who’s cuddling with me?”

           “You seem tohave replaced me as number one cuddle bud,” Eren said, pointing down at thesleeping body of Beatrice. Armin gave a soft ‘oh,’ reaching a hand up tolightly scratch the dog’s head. “See. I told you she liked you.”

           Armin smiledsoftly. “I guess you were right.” He took a deep breath, falling deeper intohis pillow as his eyes slipped closed again. “Well, guess I can’t move if thedog’s still asleep.” Eren chuckled, dropping to his knees and retrieving aspare blanket from the container under the bed. He draped the blanket overArmin and Beatrice.

           “Sleep tight,my lovelies,” Eren said, heading for the door.

           “Wait.”

           The brunetteturned around just in time to see a hand reach out for him. One blue eye hadpeeked back open to beg him to stay. “Aren’t you going to join us? You are mynumber one cuddle bud, after all.”

           Eren smiled. “Can’targue with that logic.”

1. If someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?

Read Harry Potter, for sure. Then the Mortal Instruments series. Romeo and Juliet. And then a plethora of other English class “classics.” Watch as many Disney movies as possible, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Princess Bride, Attack on Titan, and Over the Garden Wall. Listen to a ton of Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and mix in some Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Disney/Showtunes. I think that’s a fair representation? 3. List your fandoms and one character from each that you identify with.

5. Do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? do you identify yourself by the things you do?

Oh, this one’s interesting! I think I’m more of a human begin than a human doing. I like to be positive, be kind, be productive, be helpful. I don’t say a lot about it on here, but my religion is a really important part of who I am, and I try to live each day in accordance with my beliefs by sharing positivity and kindness with the people I meet. I know I don’t always do the best I could, but I try my best to always actively improve the world for others even if it’s just a smile.
