My mom is pissing me off again. She was telling me yesterday that I shouldn't tell anyone associated with K's school that she had aspergers. She thinks that I should let them tell me something is wrong and that k acts out because I let her get away with things because she has asp and that is I didn't let her get away with things she wouldn't act out so much.

Thank you mother for thinking I'm a crappy mom who let her child get away with things when in reality I am tougher on k and expect better behavior out of her than most of my friends expect out of their typical children. I don't let k get away with things, if she screams I don't get her what she wants (unlike my mom who gives in at the first sign of a tantrum), I expect her to be respectful and enforce it by reminding her constantly, I remind her to look at people who don't know about he asp, her preschool teacher knows because she is my friend not just a teacher. And to top that all off I plan on homeschooling with a friend (using k-12) so that both or children are challenged and not left to their own and to just review in public school since they are both already above grade level in several things (all but 1 subject for both). Thank you little blog for understanding and listening.
