[ Slightly plotted starter for @autidcte! For Spes! >:3 ]

Lilli strolled a little through the empty corridors of the ship. She really didn’t had anything better to do, and most of the pirates were busy with... well, with whatever dumb task they got from the pirate leader. A noise from one of the rooms she passed made her lightly jump though, and stopped her in her tracks. Sounded like, even just small, explosion... Or at least something blowing up.

Curious as always she opened the door as silent as possbile, just to see the scientist ‘working’ on some machine... or something. She really doesn’t know what that is. He also didn’t seem to have noticed her entering the room yet.

Seems like he had blown up something again. That was like the third time in the past days. How funny. It almost looked like as if he and Ales were doing that on purpose... But maybe that’s exactly the case? She surely could try to find out. It wouldn’t also be that surprising if she had to be honest. And she could maybe get a nice scare out of him.

“Hey Spes~ Blowing up stuff again I see?”

The shadowmancer suddenly spoke, leaning in the doorway, and smirking at Spes. Then she continued.

“Zhat does happen quite often in zhe last time, don’t you zhink?”

Anger gives space to worry. Worry gives space to panic. And before he knows it, Guzma is this close to scream his lungs out, not out of anger of fear, but simply because, god damnit, he really can’t break something with Dosh half-conscious in his arms so might as well YELL REALLY LOUD.

If he ran over a Pokèmon or a child on his way to the hospital, he doesn’t really care. All he focuses on is to keep Dosh as close to him as possible to his chest and the directions towards the nearest hospital, knowing well he’d have like, 5% chances to be even listened. Especially given how he literally kick down the door as soon as he gets there, finally screaming.

“SOMEONE FIX MY BOY OR ELSE!!!”

...well that escalated quickly. PJ was already about to go on with his merry life - if that guy wanted to be a badass so bad, he could’ve dealt with Guzma after all - moving both hands in his pockets and giving the weirdly handsome stranger a quick look, making but one step before being forced to stop on his tracks in the most rude of ways.

He... kinda expected a Pokèmon to be pulled out, and for that guy to start bullying him around with whatever overpowered guy he was keeping in his pockets. What the grunt didn’t expect was a gun.

It’s a miracle if he doesn’t scream right away - or faints, for the matter. Maybe it’s the shock, but PJ finds himself completely stiff, holding even his breath as his eyes move to the glock pointed at his head. 

No, he’s not looking at the stranger, but he sure as hell is listening.

          And is wondering why the fuck he decided to go out to grab some drink right now. He could’ve left that guy alone. He could be in his room playing Mario Kart or whatever, but noooooo, here we at gunpoint. This is wibbly wubbly NICE.

“Wh... Who are you?! S-Some kind of cop--?”

he can’t even be surprised.  the poor, hapless star’s mind seems to have been shattered, much like his own had been when he’d been in a similar situation. fortunately, that means at least one of them has experience with this time-space anomaly going on, and it can be treated with the care it needs. alas, it doesn’t mean much, given the details are still lost to him, but... at least it means he’s able to keep from panicking.

❝ i wish i could say i was. you’d probably be way less wigged out. ❞ despite the short laughter given, geno can only empathize with him. it’s a mind-boggling and crazy thing, looking quite literally at yourself, but he’s... somehow gotten used to it. maybe it isn’t the best time to tell him that they aren’t the only ones running around out there.

❝ it looks like that megasmilax got you pretty good, ❞ muses he, leaning over to lift a small towel left draped over his clone’s head. the jagged marks left in wood are still painful just to look at, and he can’t help but wince. ❝ worse that you were way too out of it for me to give you a pick-me-up. some ‘shrooms might be all you’ll need now, so there’s your silver lining for you, i guess. ❞

there’s something he feels he should cover, something just at the tip of his tongue, but he can’t say he’s sure about what it is... or, no, wait, he’s got it.

❝ oh, uh ——— not a belome clone, by the way. ❞ that’d be... bad. very bad.

She hadn’t really expected to find the scientist with a black eye... Actually she wasn’t even sure what she should have expected as they had send her here. ‘Investigate if he is up to something’ they told her, yet Ruby knew what they meant with ‘something’. Whatever. Her concern right now was more about Spes well-being.

“O-Oh I see... But! You aren’t hurt anywhere else are you?”

The fairy asks, obviously worried as she just... stood there. In his laboratory. And when he asks what she is actually doing here, and it took her a moment to answer.

“Uh, well, I was told to check on you!”

More or less...

“And uhm the door was open so... I kind of let myself in?”

Welp, maybe she should have knocked at least...

                                      “ ℍ𝕖 did this to you. ”

The admin is very quick to catch the hands pushing him away, putting them down, coming closer once more. He threw himself out of the Shady House the second he knew where his boss was headed, flew all the way from Po Town - and arrived way too late, only to see the professor come out. Bloody and bruised.

                                                  “ Didn’t ℍ𝕖 ? ”

Of course he did. It was Guzma, for fuck’s sake, and it looked like his work. After forcefully sitting the professor down, in one of the lab rooms, he quickly snatches an emergency kit from one of the shelves. Kneels down, searches inside of it.

 “ ℍ𝕖 destroys, that’s what ℍ𝕖 does. But I am here to fix. ”

“ ... We should take you to the hospital. And call your wife. ”

Oh, she wouldn’t be pleased to see him ...

BEEP BEEP! Message recieved, loud enough to wake her up. She yawns loudly, moving her hand quite blindly to reach for the phone and give a tiny, tired smile as soon as she reads the message.
