Summary:

Dota Auto Chess was first released by the four-man Drodo Studio as a Dota 2 custom mod on January 4, 2019. Within a week's time, the mod attracted hundreds of thousands of players and became an instant hit. By February 26, Dota Auto Chess had amassed five million players, with dedicated Twitch channels and widespread esports attention. Like the game it was built upon, Dota Auto Chess had become the modding phenomenon of a new generation.

Pokémon Auto Chess

It's my new favorite thing, but it's also not working right now. I think because like me people discovered it recently from watching a pokemon youtuber and now the fandom is invading them in masses and it's just two people running it. There was less then 100 people online when I saw this dude's video. We were hitting 1,000 when I was playing yesterday.

Come back on Pokémon Auto Chess! I was just starting to get good!

My biggest accomplishment as a gamer to date... After only playing competitively for a few weeks, I am now ranked at the top 0.86% of NA at 6,820. If I were a youngin I would drop everything in my life right about now to learn every nuance about TFT in order to pursue a career as a streamer and content creator... but nah I'm old  😭😂

I crocheted this little Abyssal Crawler for my friend who is a big fan of auto chess and cute squid-y mollusk-y character designs! As for me I am wholly unfamiliar with the game, but I thought this design would be a fun challenge! In particular, I’m pleased with how the shell hat turned out, impressed with this to-date tiniest body I’ve ever made, and a little frustrated that even so the actual model has an even bigger discrepancy between the two!
