Knowing Thyself:
A dreamer who lost its passion and how she found a spark of hope
an autobiography
----- For once, I called myself a dreamer. A visionary. An idealist. An imaginative woman. It starts with a change of perception towards the world we're living in today. Finished reading #ChasingSpace, the autobiography of @lelandmelvin aloud to the kids over the past two weeks. It was so great and the kids loved it! Also, he spoke about the things he has faced as a Black man, and how incredible it was to have the first TWO African-Americans on the International Space Station at the same time. It was a perfect story to go with the other books I’ve started reading the boys to teach them more about the Black community, not to mention to really foster their love of science and space. Thank you for sharing this story, Mr. Melvin. #autobigraphy #blacklivesmatter #astronaut @NASA #hoopla https://www.instagram.com/p/CCe7n0CFrzzvdQZhVirlqbOP7Fag8OSdgljMMY0/?igshid=ednh4laff4jk
