I've never been more disappointed in my entire life

How on earth did they manage to ruin Eyepatch Morty? Yikes. This was terrible. Like, it really sucked. IT SUCKED.

I watched the whole episode hoping it would turn out to be the false reality one. But, like, no.

His whole character arc. The wanting to be left alone thing. Everything. It was terrible. Meaningless. Like, YIKES.

His story used to be EMOTIONAL. This was... really bad. Just bad and cliche. Like a fanfic, but in a bad way.

I'm not even mad that it, like, was against every single headcanon I have about EM. I'm mad because it was emotionless and... just nothing.

I can only keep hoping it will indeed turn out to be the fake reality in the next episodes (it didn't even have the "for the damaged coda" music motif). Rick had no problem calling him Evil, something he would oppose before.

You can't really establish EM as "the greatest villain" after an episode like this. Like, what.

Ok I think I'm high on excitement rn And I know this would have never happened because the Duffers are two shitheads But- You remember when in S5 (try hard, everyone, I know its traumatic) Max told Lucas she never even needed the music, she just needed him? Can you imagine how beautiful it'd be if we had a similar version with Stancy? But slightly different? Maybe she's vecnussied and because she needs that pathway to get out, just like Max did, only true love- true meaning- true connection- can save her. The icing on the cake would be that Jonathan would be trying so fucking hard. But eventually he wouldn't care that it wasn't working, he would just be annoyed. He would be annoyed that this situation wasn't working for him as everything else seemed to. And everyone- realising that they need to try their last hope, the only path that feels right.... Look to Steve. And he, without hesitation, leans down and kisses her. Crying as he does so, hoping to god- if there's even one out there- that his girl- his beloved, who he knows his heart longs for, would come back. That even if she didn't love him the same, he just wanted her to be happy. To be alright. To be safe. And soon... Her eyes open. And their gazes interlock, like a piece of a puzzle finally slipping into place, after years of being lost in what feels like a mountain of struggle. Imagine if we had a true love's kiss moment.

And she realised there and then that this was the man she loved. And the man who loved her.
