A set of three drawings featuring Rodimus, Shockwave, and Megatron from transformers, drawn as automorphs --quadrupedal, mammal-like mechs. The artwork is done similar to a field diagram, with notes next to each drawing.
Rodimus is designed to look like a sighthound or other large canine, with long legs and his tongue hanging out mid-pant. His posture is that of an animal mid-gallop. The text next to him reads: “A modded (but not augmented) automorph. Modding alters the body without changing the physiology or mind.”
Shockwave is bulkier than Rodimus, with hoof-like feet, a heavy canon on his left shoulder, and a whip tail held over his back with prism-like segments resembling a spinal cord. He doesn’t have a muzzle, instead having his hexagonal screen head with a single, unblinking yellow eye. He is staring directly at the viewer. The text next to him reads: “Augmentation is not without consequence. Though the model above has heightened its problem solving capacity, the lobotomization of all but its frontal lobe leaves it with poor aim and stamina.”
Megatron is similarly bulky, like Shockwave, but he sports his fusion cannon on his right shoulder. He is standing alert; his head is up straight and his front paws are together, as though stacked like a show dog. He stares off to the side, snarling slightly at something off screen. The text next to him reads: “A lop-eared mining model, outfitted for combat. Its droopy ears make it no less dangerous.”
