Idly fingers reach for little nebulous feline, uncaring and unawares as to whether it was one he had returned long since. Should little beast be captured carefully would he set crown of pale blooms upon its grown, fingers following to pet silken fur. “What of a game?” This he directs at king, wry smile offered. “We’ll take turns answering questions honestly, hm? To refuse is to lose~ Obviously I’ll begin!” For it was his game, though elder may decline. “What is the worst thing you’ve done~?”
MERLIN WANTED TO PLAY a game? And it was something so trivial? How interesting. Ozymandias was not even given a chance to give a yes or no answer, though it seemed the other had thought ahead of time and put him in such a situation that to even utter the word ‘no’ would mean to lose. How easy it would have been to turn his nose up at the other man and refuse him and this whimsy; however, Sun King was bored and saw no harm in this. He would humor the other until his interest waned. Turning his gaze away from Caster, it lingered upon his rather content sphinx as small cub happily enjoyed the attention it was graced with. ❝The worst thing I have done? The answer to that should be obvious, should it not? My refusal to listen during a certain situation involving Plagues is most well-known, after all.❞ Out of everything, that would follow him into eternity. To him, there could be nothing greater than this folly.
A pause soon followed as he reached out to brush fingers through cub’s fur idly for a moment as well, his mind working over a simple question to bring forth. ❝What moment in your life made you your happiest? Or I suppose, what constituted as such in human terms.❞ Merlin would laugh and say something along the lines of not having true emotions the same way another might or whatever similar would slip from those lips, so Ozymandias thought to intercept him quickly before then.
