Avantone Pro est une marque new-yorkaise qui évolue dans l'univers studio, avec une petite spécialisation dans les enceintes actives. Avec le sobrement nommé Avantone Planar, elle présente un casque pour le moins moderne, qui succède à son ancien modèle Studio MP-1. À l'image des Audeze et autres Hifiman, Avantone Pro a ici porté son choix sur un transducteur planaire, plus proche de l'univers pro (mais également Hifi) selon la marque.
