New Matchup Rules

I need to get back in the groove of writing fanfiction and get out of my head a little, so I figured I'd start by writing matchups! I might close these eventually but for now my requests are open 💕

I have added some new fandoms and rules, so please pay attention!

You are allowed to choose 2 fandoms per matchup request (but you can submit multiple requests), and my current fandoms that I'll write matchups for include:

❤️ Castlevania (Note: I'm not familiar with all the characters, but I'm working on it lol)

❤️ The Legend of Zelda (Note: You can specify what game you want, or ask for a general matchup where I’ll pull from all games. Also please specify if you’re comfortable with being shipped with a villain like Vaati or Ganondorf)

❤️ Avatar (The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra and Chronicles of the Avatar for Yangchen and Kyoshi, + Avatar Kuruk because I love him)

❤️ Witch Hat Atelier (Note: Currently I’m only comfortable writing for Qifrey and Olruggio so I’ll basically be choosing between the two of them for your matchup)

Please include these in your matchup request:

Hii I just found your blog and I’m really enjoying your writing! If you’re still doing matchups, could I please get one for atla and lok? I’m a 5’4” bi girl and I’m pretty athletic bc I do a lot of sports (soccer, hockey, kickboxing) but still kinda clumsy, if that makes any sense?? I’m an ENTP, Aquarius, and a Hufflepuff and I can be a little stubborn, and hotheaded at times if someone’s really pushing my buttons or being rude to someone else. I’m quiet at first but once I get a feel for new people, I usually end up being the funny conversation starter of the group that hypes everyone up. You two, I swear to the amazing goodness of the cabbage man would be such an amazing ship. You literally have to be in the show together-- although the Zuko fandom shipping is quite complicated, I think that when it comes to you and Zuko, everything will get cleared up. Zuko, even though he tends to be quiet at times, he needs someone who is full of life with new ideas and an open heart. Many people say he deserves someone who is calm, serious, and collected, but you insist otherwise. You have opened eyes to everything, and you're nearly an exact resemblance of Iroh, but more ecstatic and open-minded. Zuko will honestly always look up to you and knows he can trust you with his life. He always makes sure that you get what you deserve because that's how much he cares. He loves that part of you when your eyes light up in the excitement and that you put others before yourself, every second of every day. He doesn't care about how you look, because your personality and loving heart always make him smile. He also struggles to hide his laughs and smiles when he's with you-- he's been eating more, smiling more, talking more, and overall, you're just this ray of light in the darkness that keeps him going in the toughest times. I also definitely think that you’d always give Zuko the most amazing time ever-- and Zuko would always look after you. He probably has a tendency of giving you a bunch of nicknames, and he’d most definitely shower you with more love than anything else!

Asami, I swear to goodness, if you manage to win over her heart completely, she will never stop loving you. Asami, all though she has a tendency to be very defensive about certain topics, the exact moment you come into her life? Boom. She starts getting defensive-- but about you and your well-being. Asami cares so much about you to the point that she will hold you and absolutely refuse to let go because that's just who she is. She will listen to you talk for hours upon hours, and she absolutely refuses to forget about your existence and will stick with you through both the thick and thin. She believes that you are the reason to fight for because when her momma-bear instincts kick in, OH BOY. She will fight for you, day and night, and will always remind you daily how much she loves you. You were born to a firebender and waterbender within a small mining village. Since your father was one of the soldiers who were in charge of said village, you were an outcast. Nearly everyone looked down on you for your Fire Nation heritage except for mother and son duo; Kai & Haru. Despite what your father represented they respected you and your mother as separate entities from him. He had never harassed, stolen or taken anything nor anyone from the village. It hadn't come out until after your father was taken that he had been plotting to liberate the village from Fire Nation rule. Kai and Haru became support pillars for both you and your mother causing Haru and yourself to become quite close. A strong friendship blossomed into love and within a year of your father being taken, Haru asked you to be his girlfriend. It was four years later that the avatar came to the village and freed the prisoner ship leading to the liberation of your village. A few months later Haru came to you on your 2 year anniversary and gave you a necklace. A traditional Water Tribe betrothal necklace. Inscribed on the light blue stone was a beautiful crescent moon above ocean waves. On the back of the stone were the symbols of the Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation and Water Tribes, indicating all the nations you were involved with. The necklace warmed your heart and just made you melt that Haru had went out of his way to complete a Water Tribe tradition for you. You happily accepted and when requested to aid Avatar Aang on the day of black sun, Haru, Tyro and yourself went to their aid. Your firebending would be useless but your waterbending was on par with masters. Despite the loss on that day, you three went home in one piece and after the end of the 100 year war, you two were wed. You helped the village grow and prosper, teaching earthbenders many firebending forms to aid them in creating new earthbending moves. You were an asset to the village and the first to show that it was heritage that defined someones bending. You were also the first to show that village that double bending was possible.

You have been with Kyoshi since the beginning. You were abandoned on the same pier as she and were rescued by Kelsang with her. You are an waterbender abandoned by your nomadic tribe after your abilities were discovered. A waterbender had not been born in your tribe for centuries and you were considered a curse due to being born after your mother had an affair with an Air Nomad. She was forced yo abandon you when this was discovered when you were 6 and she became an outcast of the tribe. Around the age of 13, you began to develop feelings for the Warrior and she you but neither confessed until the age of 17. At the age of 17 Kyoshi found she was the Avatar and you quickly became her Waterbending teacher. Your mother had left you a priceless waterbending scroll that was only known within your tribe. You taught Kyoshi these moves and she excelled. At 18, you confessed to her and she gladly accepted you as her girlfriend. You became the first Waterbender to train as a Kyoshi Warrior and the first Kyoshi Warrior to excell and beat Kyoshi in hand-to-hand combat. You gained respect from the others and you were accepted as Avatar Kyoshi's girlfriend. At 20, you gave Kyoshi a Betrothal Necklace. You had fashioned the traditional necklace in a untraditional way by making it Green to represent the Earth Kingdom. It represented your love for her and by proxy had hints of gold within that had been melted down from a ring you had been left by your mother. She meant more to you than the ring and you showed her this by including the gold from said ring in the necklace. You gave it to her on your 2 year anniversary and she graciously accepted. She wore the necklace with pride, most did not notice it at first since it looked so natural with her usual wear but once they had, you were held in even higher regard as the Avatar's Betrothed. You married her at 23 and adopted a young girl at 24. You two were pivotal parts of Kyoshi Island and seen as the highest standing members of the Island which your daughter soon became apart of when she was old enough to talk.

Everything in Ba Sing Se was perfect, until the Avatar arrived. Somehow you had become friends with Sokka, and through that you started seeing how imperfect your hometown was. You had no idea that there was a war, let alone led by the Fire Nation who had attacked the kingdom’s walls trying to get inside. It was terrifying to learn about what was happening outside, it was like your ideas of the world were crumbling around you. Sokka kept you company though, assuring you that everything would be okay. You found comfort just being with him, as strange as it was to suddenly feel so safe with a man you met only recently. He was a bit unnerved by Joo Dee and because of that (and the kindness he showed you), you thought it was only nice to give him your own personal tour of the city. Perhaps you could get to know each other a little bit better, maybe over a cup of tea from that new shop everyone’s been raving about.

Hi :) Can I please have an Avatar the Last Airbender matchup?I’m a straight girl, 16, introverted and an ISFP-T. I’m a loyal, laidback, empathetic, very shy person (until we become friends of course) & love to joke around and laugh. I love using sarcasm and making friendly comebacks to my friends’ banter.

I’m quite insecure abt myself and struggle to acknowledge my achievements, often downplaying them and comparing myself to others. I love giving compliments to ppl close to me and become flustered (in a good way) when I receive them, I’m pretty accepting and laidback, but stress myself out all the time by overthinking. I can get quite anxious before social situations due to my shyness, but once I’m in conversation it isn’t so bad tho I fidget a lot when I’m nervous.

I try to look at things realistically but I can be emotional sometimes and I’m short tempered, but I always apologise first after an argument. I’m the friend who is kinda chaotic and loves messing around, but knows when to stop and hates making people feel uncomfortable. My dream is to become a doctor in the future :). Prince Zuko was so invested in capturing the Avatar, his drive was almost encumbering. You had decided to accompany him on this expedition, acting as a form of support alongside Iroh. It was more of a challenge than you’d expected, trying to keep Zuko’s emotions in check. His temper was short, the fuse always too small before he blew up again. When you were by his side, his explosive moods always seemed to simmer down, something that everyone on the ship appreciated. As the ship sailed into Southern Water Tribe territory, you began to worry. You truly loved Zuko, but knew that his motive to catch the Avatar would drive him to do anything. You didn’t want people to get hurt, killed because of Zuko’s mindless actions. Even though you were concerned, you couldn’t say anything to stop him. He knew what he wanted and this was the only way to satiate that need.
