Does anyone know if there are any plans to release the Avatar 1 remaster on like DVD or blu-ray?
I think they added some details that aren't in any other release (like a tiny scar on Neytiri's face).

Just saw the Avatar remaster and I'm so excited. I have to share my first impressions: As someone who watched Avatar only once back in 2009 and then about 200+ times on DVD (there was a year when I would watch it almost every day) - the remastered version was .. more? It's hard to describe but I had forgotten that *good* 3d gives a movie much more depth. I felt like I could reach out and touch the plants and atokirina. I felt like I was in the forest. Oh and I *know* that life on Pandora is big but the 3d + big screen makes everything - trees, animals, Na'vi - look absolutely real and massive. I flinched a little whenever a creature roared or moved (even when I knew it was coming).
The new/extended scene was a liiittle bit of a letdown for me (considering the amazing deleted scenes that exist) but I'm not going to complain about new footage <3
My only complaint would be that I had to deal with the dub but in return I got to see the remaster a day earlier lol
As for the post-credit scene/twow preview, it looked -somehow- even better?? Even more realistic but prettier than reality. The sequel(s) are going to blow our minds.
Guys, if you have never seen Avatar on the big screen (and even if you've already seen it a hundred times) go check it out in 3d! It's so worth it :)
I totally understand not wanting to support Disney financially, tho. I was also conflicted about that (and still kinda am).
Ready to have my mind blown (again) 💙
I sure hope they're wrong 🥲

"The Avatar remaster looks incredible!!" I wouldn't know, I started crying as soon as they showed the twow trailer so the whole experience was kinda blurry :')
So many thoughts and feelings <3

The fact that I can just go to my local theater right now and watch Avatar ... feels good 💙
