“Oh, I am sorry!” Eve exclaimed, slamming into a figure as she rounded the corner in a full sprint. Before she could speak or have them reply the mob chasing her began to turn the corner. Eve quickly swung the person into the alley, covering their mouth and ducking as the mass crowd passed. She waited a moment longer before breathing a sigh of relief. Realizing the situation she pulled her hand back and took a step away, giving space between the two. “My apologies, but trust me, you do not want to be involved with them.” She insisted peeking back to make sure they were in the clear.
