tony || assembly required apparently
Tony: [ tensions had been running high at the tower since the info leak, and even though the anger and confusion from the people of new york had died down, there were people on his own team ( cough /steve/ cough ) who were still boiling with it. and while tony stark had never been one for pragmatism, he /was/ a leader of the avengers ( on what had to be /pure/ technicality ), and he knew that shit was only going to get worse unless they figured out some sort of game plan. so that's what they were doing now, in one of the empty conference rooms, after tony and f.r.i.d.a.y. had all but dragged everyone in by the ear. ] Alright now that everyone's taken their sweet time meandering on in here, what do you say we have a little chat?

Loki had always been the forgotten adopted brother, forever stuck (and eventually, blinded by) in the shadow of his elder, Thor. It was a long and tricky life, or it has been so far- anything he ever did to try and impress his father was thrown out the window, dismissed as unimportant. His rage at this started to silently grow, and he tried to take over Midguard, though he was defeated eventually by the Avengers and sentenced to imprisonment. After a while of this, Loki was starting to grow sick of everything, pent up rage brewing and growing. All he had to entertain him were his own illusions and the few books his mother had left him in his cell- until, that is, he woke to find a curious paper butterfly resting on the arm of his chair. He was left to contemplate this until he found himself seated in a throne at an empty museum. Evidently, he was not in Asgard any more- and evidently, he couldn't care less.
Alternate ending!
What is this alternate ending you speak of? WHY HAVEN'T I WATCHED IT? Someone please send me a link, a gif, or something! I'm just dying. Too many feelings. My god.
