DESCRIPTION:

For a long time, it was only Isaac. The light of his parent’s eyes, and the recipient of their affections. It was what drove him into attempting to outshine those around him, oozing a perfection he wasn’t entirely sure he actually held. With the idealization of his siblings came a further need to prove himself, and accomplish everything they held him capable of. Perhaps he ought not to have seen it as such, but the war became his opportunity to prove himself. His desire to protect radicalized into a firm devotion to Aversio -- sure that no matter the cost in blood, exterminating those who sought to reign in terror and fear was a priority.

Still, as the twin with a firmer head on his shoulders, Gideon feels responsible for keeping his family safe. When it felt like the Order wasn’t doing enough, he joined Aversio on a whim; a decision he isn’t sure was wise.

DESCRIPTION:

She was born an emotional wreck. Some might call her an addict -- to the chase, to the thrill of affection, to substance; while others might call her a little crazy. Marlene draws people in with her vibrancy but then, as soon as she trusts them enough to open up, she shoves them out of her life by acting like a downright bitch. This push and pull has been a part of her since she can remember; a frustrating aspect of her personality that has only grown with the things she has experienced in war. After a brutal kidnapping and witnessing horrific cruelty, her complicated view on people has only gotten worse. It isn’t clear what drives Marlene, but at the end of the day, she knows she will fight to the death to protect those she loves.
